I woke up with a sore throat so I am worried I caught C's strep. I made an urgent care appointment at 4:15 because I need to be at work and I know my Dr won't just call in an Rx. Urgent care will at least give me meds until the culture comes back, assuming it works the same as C's did. C also has a few bumps on his chin that look like Impetigo. He finished his Z pack for strep last night so now I am waiting for his Dr to open to call and see if they think he needs more meds. Just what you need less than 24 hours before a trip.

Good morning! Getting ready for preschool drop off, then Charlie and I will run to Costco for a few things.I should make it back just in time for pick up (even with a Starbucks trip thrown in)

I hope you and C both get the meds you need to feel better wedding! Happy Friday ladies! This has been the LONGEST week! I'm thinking about using 1/2 day PTO this afternoon to get the house cleaned, groceries bought, laundry started and hit the gym, since I won't be home Sunday. It's been a pretty quiet week, which probably means things will go to shit this morning. |

Morning. Woke up with a headache for the 5th day in a row. Might try and get back into the chiro today.
Daycare and preschool drop off aren’t for another 45 minutes. Then I’m wfh today and our trim and doors are all going to be delivered.
N is getting picked up by another daycare friends mom for a play date this afternoon and she is so excited! It makes her seem so grown up to be going home with a friend.

Wow wineallthetime, are the nurses union? I didn't realize that was a thing...at least not here that I'm aware of. I hope they resolve what the issues are quickly so it doesn't get that far. |

wedding, how close to his lips are the bumps? Cadence gets red dots around her mouth from licking her lips. I usually just put aquaphor on it and they go away. They also show up when she's been outside sweating.

You know I'm a planner & I want to know worst case scenario and all possible scenarios beforehand. So I was asking him how lots of questions. Me: How many cases have you had like his where he continues to get these infections after 2 surgeries? ENT: I can tell you it's not 0. Me: That's now what I asked. ENT: We need to get his nose under control so that way he'll stop getting the infections. ME: What was the treatment plan for the other kids in his position? ENT: Let's wait for the lab results first before we get ahead of ourselves. If it's a superbug then we'll be able treat this with a different medication. Me: Do you think it could be an immune deficiency or something? ENT: Well, he's still so little and doesn't have the antibodies built up like we do as adults. ME: That's not the kind of deficiency I was suggesting. ENT: Let's wait for the lab results and if they come back normal, we can discuss immune deficiencies. He has previously said it's not allergies. The pedi disagrees. |

Morning! My H took B to school again 🙌🏻
We watched the Mr Rogers documentary last night so I pulled up some of the episodes on YouTube this morning. Such a soft and lovely show. I kind of wondered if B would find it ‘boring’ compared to the more action-oriented shows he normally likes, but he seemed to enjoy it!
Just housework on the agenda today, and then we’re meeting friends for Mexican tonight.

The Ped needs to see him so he has a 4:45 appointment. I am leaving here ASAP to go to Urgent Care because my throat is now on fire:(
