lfig larger knives go on the top shelf on their sides. Paring/steak knives go sharp side down in the utensil holder. Mine wont fit in the holder the other way.

Question of the day: Do you put your sharp knives in the dishwasher up or down? This question was brought to you by the knife wound I have after MH did the dishes and put them up. SS I dont put knives in the dishwasher, but if I were to they’d be handle up. |

Sharp knives go down. I usually hand wash them though. I tripped in the kitchen once while someone was loading the dishwasher. Not delightful at all. |

Thank you all for the birthday wishes!
I took off today and put the kids in day care. Went to the spa and lunch with my bff. Picking the boys up in a few for soccer practice. But that’s about it for plans since MH is out of town till next Saturday.
I did pick up a piece of cake bc Sam doesn’t think it’s a birthday without cake. I have to say it is a little sad picking up 1 piece of cake for yourself for your birthday, but oh well

I'm happy you could take some time for yourself today, i hope your H will shower you with gifts, cake, and kid-free time when he gets home  xolastunicornxo I think that's a great spot; you could even look for a wall-mounted table (I'll see if I can find a picture/example) to keep your floor space clear and be visually less obtrusive, if that makes sense? lfig We handwash sharp knives too; I put table knives in handle-down, so that the water drains away from the blade and doesn't leave water spots. vino J and C would be great buds. C is also obsessed with allll the books lately, which I love, but she picks very inopportune times to want to read, like as we were trying to get out the door today to pick up B. One cool thing I have realized this week, is that when she's inevitably tired/cranky and losing it, if I just snuggle her in bed or on the sofa and read her a couple books, she settles right down and is the happiest toddler ever. |

Am I the only lazy person here that puts my sharp knives in the dishwasher?! Lol.
I should clarify that they were cheap steak knives (but hurt like a bitch when I stabbed myself). I do have 2 butcher blocks of nice knives that we hand wash.

@lfige knives down. I know sharp knives shouldn’t go in the dishwasher but C sharpens them all the time even before using the dishwasher so 🤷♀️

I guess I am so behind the times, the only person I know IRL who wears or has anything to do with consistent lash treatments, owns a lash business. She is in Miami, sands42, and does work for a lot of pageant contestants, etc. We actually went to college together, she was in interior design with me. She was the biggest perfectionist I have ever met...and you meet a lot of them in the design industry! Extremely meticulous, precise, painstakingly detailed. From the comments/reviews I've read about her, that works to her advantage in this business! I think it's definitely something worth looking into. |

Hi ladies just popping in for a sec, crazy day at work. My Grandma died last night. My poor cousin that found his mom dead less than 2 weeks ago also found my grandma. I feel so bad for him. My mom is really struggling. Please keep her in your T's and P's for me. I don't know how she's going to handle this. Omg I’m so sorry. That’s horrible. |

vino flamingo B is obsessed with books too. He often brings a ‘security’ book to school with him. It calms him down. He’s also very particular about which book he wants to read
