What is reportable/will earn you a warning:
Spam: We're your friends and your support system, not your customers. (Things like the Russian spammers or something that is clearly a bot will be automatically banned. A poster who starts promoting his/her Etsy shop or blog everywhere will get a warning.)
Wishing harm on another poster or telling them they deserve the bad things that have happened: No one deserves loss or infertility.
Discriminatory language of any kind: This includes any and all -isms. If you see something, say something but also report it to your moderator/admins so that we have a record and can send the appropriate warnings.
Relentless harassment of another poster: It's one thing to call someone a bitch in an argument. It's another to follow them post to post, board to board to attack or call them out multiple times.
Reposting/C&Ping anything from the cache when a poster has asked for their content to be deleted. It is true the internet never forgets, but the content deletion was requested for a reason.
No nudity. Posting content deemed as objectionable per the ProBoards Terms of Service (link), including that which is "libelous, defamatory, abusive, or threatening, excessively violent, harassing, obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, or pornographic." Posting pornography will be an automatic ban. Breastfeeding photos are not a violation of the TOU.
Three (3) warnings in a one year period will result in a ban.
What will get you banned:
Malicious trolling or the creating of alter egos (AEs) to troll. AEs meant in good fun such as ponytailBFF are okay as are AEs created for privacy to discuss extra sensitive subjects.
Posting pornography.
Sharing personal information about another poster without their permission (name, address, phone number, email, photos, etc.). This also includes sharing information others post on a locked board or the content of private messages.
Please remember that this is the internet and aside from a few locked boards, this forum is visible to the public. Exercise internet safety.
We will delete content as requested. If you are unable to log into your account and want content deleted, you can email howeverithappenedforum (gmail account). Please use the email linked to your account here.
