Day 39 done! I cannot do tricep dips. My body is incapable of that shit. Between my weak shoulders and tendonitis flareups in my wrists, it's impossible. I try every time and get nowhere. So now I just do more tricep lifts. I planked again for the whole minute today! This is huge for me. I only grit my teeth during the last few seconds. I haven't decided if I need to skip them for the fit test or not, but I'm pretty much done with tricep dips. Until I can get a trainer to show me how to do them without straining my wrists, I'm done. I did tricep kick backs instead.
I did have a trainer at the gym, who spotted me after the donkey & hydrant kicks (4 min on my hands & knees, really Briana?!?) shaking out my wrists, recommend that I do them on my hand weights. It made a big difference and now I use them for Mt climbers, squat trusts, plank jacks, etc. (All my favs!)
Thank you for the tip! I am definitely going to try that because my wrists flare up every couple of days and make my life hell.

So you’re not interested in a board wide BBM birth video movie night? It's like Day 645 and she's constantly saying "I don't know if you watched my birth video but I had a traumatic birth and this move is really hard for me." Bitch, we know. This is what annoys me the most about it. No one is just jumping in at day 38. So, we ALL KNOW. I mean I really have zero interest in watching anyone's birth videos ever, but I especially do not want to watch a traumatic one. No thank you, please.

I've been using 5lbs as my "heavy" weights and it was getting easy so I ordered 8s and they came in today. I'm excited to do the upper body workout today with them.

I'm going to try and do a restorative yoga instead and see where my headspace is tomorrow.

A really fun thing I've discovered is that I have to lock my dog up when I do this because otherwise he will knock me down and pin me on the floor while breathing heavily into my face.
He's a real asshole.

Day 39 done. I accidentally took my rest day yesterday when I couldn't get myself out of bed. My DD did some of the cool down with me, seeing a 2yo do cobra and downward dog is about the most adorable thing ever. She nailed it to the point whete I need to ask her teacher if they do yoga at DC. Now she's mowing my yoga mat with her lawn mower....
DD was watching Elmo again in the background, and right as Brianna showed her dog at the door, someone on DDs show said "hey how ya doin" in a goofy voice. Confused the fuck out of me!

I’m feeling emotional today and almost started crying when I was running over gratefulness to have this time for myself and the ability to move my body in these ways. I might be losing it a little. 😉

I was sluggish at the beginning but finished strong. Just glad to be done with another week. I think I will try to run on tomorrow’s off day since it’s getting harder for me to double up runs with BBM.

I did 40&41 today, sort of. I lost internet at the beginning so I just did as many exercises as I remembered for lower and cardio. I'm sure I missed some but I felt exhausted afterwards so I must have burned some calories.
This happened the other day too during upper body but I took a screenshot of the moves so I just used that because I suspected it would go out. The joys of living in the sticks.
