Next week should be interesting. I'm seeing my darling Harry Styles and will need to eat and drink my feelings. I'm gonna double up Monday and Thursday since I'm not fucking working out on Harry Styles Day. That definitely sounds like special circumstances. 😉

I'm behind and just did my fit test.
Speed squat: 33 (+6) High knees: 103 (+10) Push ups: 20 (-1) on knees both times Squat jumps: 29 (+9) Triceps dips: 19 (+8) Burpees: 12 (+3) modified Lunges: 17 (-1) Elbow plank: 50 sec - not modified this time! (Half on knees last time)
I'm pleased to see clear progress, but I still basically hate this. I have lost 2 lbs. Proud of myself for committing, and I appreciate the support and accountability from all of you!

I've been benched from working out until the doctor clears me. I'm surprised at how upset I am about losing this.

Day 16 done. I really didn't want to do it tonight but felt guilty so I got up and did it quick. My knee still really hurts so I had to modify the moves with jumping which was pretty much everything this round. And I couldn't do the plank move because I have to do them modified but can't with my knee right now. Oh, and I don't have a chair that size that will hold my weight (ours are bar height) so I used DD's step stool but it's only like 8 inches tall. Needless to say this isn't going to be my best week. At least the cardio days.
My diet has been crap the past week. I'm an emotional eater and I'm in a really low place right now and just can't bring myself out of it. Hopefully I can pull myself together soon before I undo everything I've accomplished so far.

Finished day 17. I liked it. But I don't like how she's always apologizing for not wearing a shirt, her rolls, etc. Doesn't scream body positivity to me.

I doubled up this morning and did 17 and 18. I think I will be sore tomorrow because I was using heavier weights for about half the moves.
I really didn't want to follow it up with 18, but that is what I wrote on my calendar and so I made myself be accountable and did it anyway. Bright side is I get to go back to strength tomorrow, which is what I enjoy a lot more than her cardio workouts.

You've been working out consistently and that's great. Progress, not perfection.

I modified a bunch for Day 16, somewhat to more mirror what I've learned from my trainer to help protect knees.
For the squat jump, I focus on making a graceful up and down move with a soft landing. It's different than what she does because I don't start squatting down at the floor because I don't like how bending my knees that far forward feels. Mostly like this without the band, with a focus on keeping my knees as close to in-line with my ankles as possible.
I did the step ups on an ikea step stool (thanks for the suggestion @juliagulia !)
And despite my ass being quite large, my fat thighs prevent me from kicking my own butt on those butt-kickers.

Today at the gym was a really tough chest and shoulders workout, so I think I'll do the non-arm parts of the Day 17 combined with Day 18.

Day 18 done. I was not feeling it at all today, but I did it. I'm going to double up tomorrow, because I struggle so much to get them done on the weekends when solo with kids.
I am really proud of myself for sticking in so long.

I saw him this morning. Based on my x-rays, he's recommending 5-7 weeks of physical therapy. I'd go daily for the first two weeks, then tapering off until I'm able to do everything on my own at home.
