I woke up with sharp pain by my right shoulder blade and neck. My body is officially revolting against my workouts. 😠I'm sorry! I have been waiting for a shoulder flareup. I have bursitis. Take some motrin and try not to sleep on your stomach. That can exacerbate neck and shoulder pain. DH tried sleeping on a wedge pillow and loved it, so I'm going to try tonight. I've been thinking my pillow isn't supportive enough and this has confirmed that thought. Sonofabitch.

Are there any stretches you can do that might help? Or does it just need to be left alone?

No suggestions besides gentle stretches and Motrin bobyn, but I hope the shoulder pain gets better for you soon!

Day 11 done. Again, Burpees and squat thrusts can get fucked.

Ohhhhhh damn, I just popped my neck and it felt so good. Almost instant relief. I'm still going to talk to my trainer about stretches, but I think it had to have been a bad night's sleep.

Day 10 done. I want to crawl to bed. Squat-Press-Alternating Kick: 24 Around the Worlds: 18 Teeter-Totter Lunge (Right): 20 Teeter Totter Lunge (Left): 21 Bicep Curl: 31 Goblet Squat: 23 Tricep Kickbacks: 30 V-Sit Crunch: 37 I'm using DH's adjustable Bowflex weights, so it gets pretty tough because of how bulky they are. I might need to get my own (smaller) set. Are they the Select Techs? I bought myself a set of those a few years ago for my 30th birthday, I love them. I'm sure he has the larger ones, mine go up to 52.5. Yes, the Select Techs. He got them on a huge discount when Sports Authority held their liquidation sale.

Day 11 done and an abs video.
I stayed at SIL's last night because we are flying out together. I almost didn't do it this morning telling myself I could do it when we got in. But I knew that was a lie. So I powered through. Proud of myself.
I did better this time on most of the moves.

I am sad now I had planned to double up today and now we are going out to eat with my family and I won't have time. I guess I will double up tomorrow and Sunday instead

I did better this time around, but burpees and the squat thrusts kill me.

Did day 10 late last night and day 11 this morning. I cannot do those v crunches. I can only hold the position for 40s and that is killer. I think I might breakdown and pay for her ab series.

I'm on Day 8... so far behind.
Should I skip ahead and just make myself keep up or slog with my own schedule and be jealous that everyone's ahead?

What a lot of people did last time was stay on our schedule but when you had the time make up one of the ones you're behind on. So you stay with us but still get those in.

I just had a unicorn afternoon. My kids are at daycare, my kitchen reno people finished early, so I had the house to myself. I was able to double up days 11 and 12 so I can skip tomorrow and just go to yoga. I actually was able to do the v crunches for over 30 seconds today. But the teeter hops were still a disaster.
I'm going to go HAM on some pizza tonight to celebrate.

UGH. Didn't get a chance to do anything last night because I didn't feel great. I am going to try to do 10 & 11 tonight but we are leaving in the morning to go camping and I still have to get everything ready. I for sure have to skip tomorrow since we won't have wifi so I'm really hoping I can squeeze it in tonight so I'm not multiple days behind by Sunday night when we get home.

Do you have an interval timer on your phone? You could write down the moves and do them on your own. Or if you're camping, you could just go on a long, strenuous hike and call it good.

Can you write down the exercises and do it with your own interval timer? I've done this at the gym twice and it's worked out really well. Plus I got to listen to what I wanted, instead of Briana.

Day 4 and 5 done. DD1 was saying g things like "You can do it, Mommy!" and "you're so strong!" It was pretty good motivation.

@rocknroll Ali7P I could maybe do that but I don't really want to get super sweaty because I'm not sure of the shower situation yet. We are only going overnight so I'll be able to do it Sunday when we get home and I can double up that day if I need to.

I can understand not wanting to get all sweaty. Have fun!!

Day 11 happened, but I really wasn't into it. I may have even hated every second of it TBH.
I don't think evening workouts are my jam. I'm just going to set my alarm for 5:30 tomorrow and accept my fate as a morning person. My kid is up at 6 anyway, so fuck it.

I did not want to do Day 11, but I did it. Those burpees and squat thrusts suck so bad, but the rest I don't mind. The teeter totter hop things kill me but I love them - not sure why.
I really struggle in the cool down with crossing my arms to stretch while sitting cross legged and then having to switch...like I really have a hard time. My brain can't wrap around how to do it. BUT IT'S SO SIMPLE IN THEORY!

Day 10 done! So I'm only one day behind now. Tomorrow will be my rest day for the week and then I will double up either Sunday or Monday so I will be all caught up before week 3 starts.

I woke up to CD1 and really did not want to fucking work out. But Day 11 is complete. I'm hurting from those v crunches yesterday. They really kicked my ass. One more day until rest day! This is awesome. It's so hard to workout on CD1 for me.

I can not do those V crunches. I just sub out another ab move from the ab series. They hurt. DH said they're supposed to hurt. But it's my butt and back. Not my abs. I just can't get them right. I will probably do an awful job explaining this but we used to do something similar in cheerleading but we called them rowboats. So you grabbed with your hands by your feet and pulled back, as if you were rowing. Thinking of them like that helps me with my form.

We drove to my parents' beach house and didn't get here until 11pm so I had it in my head that I would double up tomorrow, especially since both of my kids were awake and in grandparent overload and we realized we forgot wipes so MH ran to the next town for a 24hour supermarket. BUT. I asked my parents to watch my kids for 20 min and I ran upstairs and got Day 11 in. It wasn't my best workout because I could hear the baby screaming maniacally the entire time, but I did it. It made me feel a little better that I had an awake child at 11pm drinking grandparent-supplied juice.
Speed skaters: 28 Burpees: 16 Sprint in place: 1 min Jumping jacks: 70 Squat thrusts: 27 Teeter totter hops Right: 18 Left: 18 Plank windmill: 18

Got up and did day 12, but DD woke up halfway through. I managed to finish, but spoiler alert, v crunches are even harder with a 2 y/o climbing on you 😒.
I skipped the last 2 minutes of the cool down because I was tired of hearing "I no like dis. I watch Goldie Bear."

Day 11 done. I didn't do much of the cool down because my kids was already pissed about me using his iPad to exercise with. And because I just didn't feel like it.
