I'm confused. Today is technically Day 8, correct? I think so. Yes I think some people just took rest days earlier in the week. bobynEta: or doubled up to get ahead today.

I used to do those v-crunches nightly for fun. They were so hard for me today. My csection is shining through. I'm second guessing buying the abs series now if I can't handle those.

I don't feel great today and my motivation is completely in the pits. I'm going to take it easy today and hope that I feel better this evening and can get day 8 in then. Go do it now.

I feel great. I love these kinds of workouts. I think this is a good way to ease into it before I start back at bootcamp, which I will probably do after the challenge.

Cher, Week 2 in abs is all about planks. No crunches necessary.

Guess who's a little high off her workout? When does this start happening? Because so far, I just get really grouchy after my workouts...

Need to try this. Instead I get up, clean the house, pack lunches for the next day, etc. I will attempt this tomorrow!

Do your cool downs, people! It's the best part of the workout. 😜

I have to admit I like them too. I thought I didn't like this kind of stuff but now that I'm doing it, I remember a boot camp class that H and used to do that was pretty awesome. I'm actually learning I don't hate exercise as much as I thought I did. I just hating making time for it.

Day 9 done. I like the strength days so much better than the cardio days. Also did 45 minutes on the exercise bike, 2.25 mile walk, and another 35 minutes on the exercise bike.

Day 9 is done. That certainly got my heart rate up. Burpees can get fucked. Those teeter totter hops too, for making me look like such an uncoordinated fool. I don't like days like today with a lot of jumping because I live on the 2nd floor of an old apartment building. Sorry, neighbors, H, and DD. I wish she prepped better for the cool down question so she wasn't so distracted during it 🙄. I'm complainy today. Otherwise the work out was great

Just woke up to do Day 8 and 9 back to back since I only went to the trainer yesterday and didn't do any BBM.

I just finished day 10 (I doubled up yesterday). It felt great...I really like this sequence.
I followed it up by a 35 minute/3-mile walk/jog. It was a little cool this AM and it felt so good to be outside.

Day 8 and 9 done.
I feel like I'm cheating a little bit, but I skip the cool down for the first day and skip some of the warm up on the second. It feels like an effective use of time.

Day 9 done! I added on Jessica Smith's 12 min power walk, because my toddler was treating her crib like a mosh pit but was not yet crying so I only had a little time to spare.

I couldn't even do one v-crunch without arching my back.
Woof.

I am starting to be able to get the post work out high. I feel like I have energy for days after and I eat healthy foods.
It lasts about an hour and then I am exhausted.

Day 9 done. That one was really hard for me.
Wins: I did one minute of jumping jacks without stopping, which is huge for me. I did well on the planks at the end.
Bummers: I couldn't do the squat thrusts at all without modification. I could jump in but not back out. I also had very poor balance on the teeter tot moves so the exercise wasn't as effective.
I added a Jessica Smith Abs video (the 9 minute one) and it was better than my last attempt doing that.
