Day 6 done. I wanted to take a long walk with the dog, but storm clouds are rolling in.
I'm probably going to end up doubling up tomorrow if it rains.

I fell behind over the weekend, but thanks to trying to be accountable to you guys, I got up early this morning and did day 5 and 6. So I'm caught up! Now I just need to get my ass to the grocery store so we have actual food to eat.

I did Day 6 today since yesterday was my rest day. I also did Day 8 because I like starting my week on a Monday and having Sunday as my rest day. And this weekend we are going camping so I will have at least one but possibly two days I can't do it so this way I won't be behind if I miss two days. I like the strength exercises much better this week!
I'm glad I've been keeping track because it's motivating me to see how much I'm improving throughout the week. I definitely don't feel like I'm improving yet so it helps to see the proof.
I did today's workout with my 4 year old home because she doesn't have school on Mondays. That was a mistake. I'm going to have to do it after she goes to bed on those days because she won't stop talking the whole time which makes it hard for me to count, she tried to use my weights and hurt herself, and then kept critiquing me the rest of the time. Darn kids.

Darn kids. This is exactly what happened to me yesterday. Lesson learned - wait until B goes to bed. He's way too distracting.

Day 8 done. I definitely like strength training days more than cardio. I really like all the squats in this one.

Y'all are broken. Salmon is delicious. I am biased because I grew up where salmon go to die. The only acceptable form is smoked, and you can only eat so much smoked salmon before you really hate life.

There's a restaurant down the shore that does a maple glazed salmon. It's one of my favorite things. You guys are missing out.

I took Saturday as a rest day but I did Saturday yesterday and yesterday today. I'm so glad today is a rest day because I was planning on doubling up.

Those crunches though? Yeah I'm gunna need a modified version of the modified version. That shit was impossible for me.

I just got to my trainer appointment.
Depending on the workout today, I'll either do Day 8 tonight or skip it and just do 9 tomorrow. I kind of want to do both but my knees hurt last night so I don't want to overdo it.

I just finished day 8 and 9. I really liked day 8—challenging, but all moves that I enjoy.
9 wasn't terrible, but I looked like a damn fool with the teeter totter hops. I could not keep my balance.
.....and the kid just got up 45-minutes early. Sigh, so much for a quiet morning.

I think it was discussed, but she mentioned it during the Day 8 workout - is anyone doing the supplemental abs workout? I really, really need to work on my core.

I am for the same reason. What did you think of them? I like them. And there's like 30 different videos. Probable more actually. She has one video for each week of each challenge. And you're supposed to do it 3-4 times a week. Then move on to the next one. But she also has some that target certain things. Totally worth the 4.99 a month to me. And there's no warm up or cool down. 50 seconds of work out, 10 seconds rest for 5 moves. So 5 minutes total. I do it after my last workout before the cool down.

I've only done Week 1, but those were a good workout. It's really quick to add on after your daily, 50 second workout and 10 second rest.

I folded clothes yesterday. And rescheduled my OTF from today to tomorrow because sick kid. So I'm a mess and not happy and have a huge conference call that goes through lunch and I forgot all my snacks. I need a kick in the ass or a hug or something.
