DD's movements have deffo turned more to the point that she's just sticking a limb out of me, rather than just handful of jabs and kicks, I still get them but now because she's gotten bigger I feel the slightest of rolls and stretches. I think it's a heel right now that being poked out of me (I'm hoping that she's head down so it's either a heel or knee) as it's very pointy and round, it's going from the left of the top of bump to the middle and back again, it's like getting smoothed down from the inside haha. DS was much more of a smooth lazy mover so these movements I'm used to rather than the kicks to the cervix lol.

That's what I need, too, but I'll have to wait until the girls are born. I lost a bunch of weight doing it, and I don't want to do that until postpartum. But I'll cheer you on and join afterwards!

Ive been up since 1am. Tried to go to bed early at 7pm, DS woke me up at 9. I slept on and off until 1130 then got out of bed at 1am. He was up shortly after that and I made him get up for the day at 4 after he wouldn't stay in bed or go back to sleep. He should be a delight at daycare today.

I hope you can find a nap today AnnPerkins! I ended up coming into work an hour late. I was up a couple times in the night with pretty bad "stomach issues", and then my stomach was feeling crampy and I couldn't really decide if it was my stomach/intestines or my uterus and it was kind of stressing me out. It was pretty front and centre, so right around my belly button, so I don't really think there's any organs there! Baby was moving a lot though. I'm not sure why it happened, the only things I ate yesterday that DH didn't was an apple, some almonds and a piece of toast with jam, so like the plainest things ever, and I felt great all day and fine when I went to bed. Finally the cramping seems to have stopped now that I'm at work, but still feeling tired. Why does this always happen the day AFTER I'm at the MW telling her everything is going fine? I don't really think it warrants a call, but I would have brought it up if my appt was soon.

snuff9861, as long as he's wild at daycare and then tired when he gets home, it might all work out!

I posted this in the check in thread too. Anyone interested in a September Whole 30? I know we've previously discussed doing one after the babes are born but I need to reel in my eating and get back on track before I'm thrown into the chaos of life with a newborn. I might be interested, if I fail the 3 hour test. I need hard rules. I likely would not cut out legumes or whole grains though. I just need help with the sugar!

Me too, I'm so bad with sugar lately Yea it sucks! It's like my one craving. I did find that I was binge eating cookies/crackers late at night, so I've just been putting myself in bed earlier and that has helped. Pre-pregnancy, I had ONE cookie MAYBE every other week. Now I want them daily. Dang baby.

This was part of the problem for me when I did the whole 30. Also, I was getting back into running and training for a half marathon. I needed carbs- I know some people can train without them but I couldn't! Calorie tracking with the Fitbit and MFP works great for me, usually.

I just ordered some more things off of the baby's wish list on Amazon. I just hit a wall at about 7 hours in. I have Sunday off, and then work Mon-Wed next week and have 6 days in a row off for Labor day. I decided to make our trip up to the ILs' a bit longer since we aren't doing a real vacation this year. I love the ILs, and also, I know I won't have to lift a finger when I am up there lol. So I am really really looking forward to it. I am also going to make sure to bring some unisom so I can completely knock out at least one of the nights we are there. These 5 am shifts are the worst, though. I think they drain me a lot more quickly than a "normal" 7:30 day shift.

DD is taking a kids' yoga class. The instructor said I could take a seat on one of the ballroom rental-type chairs at the back of the room, but I told her I would be sitting in the much comfier lobby chairs down the hall. She was like, "oh...um...yeah...sure! Whatever you want."
Ann is attempting to live her okayest life today, and that doesn't involve shifting around an uncomfortable chair for 45 min.

I felt pretty good all day while setting up my classroom. Now that I've been home for two hours, I can safely say I overdid it. My back and hips are so sore. This does not bode well for teaching in September.
But my classroom is almost ready!

I fucked up the gd test. Nurse said she would be surprised if I passed. J had a big appointment so I have barely eaten anything due to nerves. I had a breakfast burrito for breakfast and then drank a can of Coke and a handful of goldfish for lunch. :-( Were you supposed to fast? Or just not overdo the carbs? If you fail, would your doc let you redo it? Haha. I passed. I don't remember anything about fasting. The issue was eating a crap lunch.

Hi. I just had my first PD day at my new school. Everyone was so welcoming and nice. I think it'll be a good spot in the long run, but goodness gracious my hips and SI joints hurt. I might not make it long into the year. Oof. So tired now.

At the store the other day a woman saw all my boys and said "wow, is this one a girl?" I said no, it's a boy. And she said "well lucky you, don't get pregnant again though or it'll be a girl" 😒 Literally just happened to me too. Random woman at Target, me with 3 boys in and on the cart and me obviously pregnant "I just have to ask" as she is walking by, "is it a girl?" "You know, I don't know." "Oh. Well hopefully it is a girl." "I honestly don't have a preference." Weird questioning look "If it is a boy, he would fit in and I may barely notice." Slight head tilt and walks off 😂😂😂😂😂

My MIL - "wow! You're REALLY looking pregnant!"
Uhhh thanks?
The weird part is that I saw her like 2 days before the day she made that comment so I wonder what changed...

Pushed myself to far this morning, went up to the neighbourhood park for DS to play in for half an hour, then my nan text me so I went over to hers (she lives a minute away from the park) and her house is SO HOT because she doesn't ventilate it, no windows open and doors are shut so I only managed like 5 mins there before I was like nope nope gotta leave before I pass out. I was fine until going into my nans house so I'm no longer going there anymore lol.
And my food delivery got cancelled this morning for no bloody reason so I've got to re order that for tomorrow morning as they won't do it for this evening. I want my treats dammit

I think every new person I encountered yesterday made a comment about me being pregnant. Nothing judgemental just kind of pointing it out. I think people were surprised to basicly have their new sex ed teacher walk in and be seven months pregnant.
