I got one of those, "NOVEMBER?!" réactions when someone asked my due date at work yesterday. As she gestured at her belly and made a face like "girl, you are huge".
Can't wait for the first day of school and all the parents. Ugh.

You can always tell when I've started to work more after the summer because my phone starts putting French words/accents in all over the place. Whoops. Oh well.

I was complaining to H yesterday that the baby kept kicking my belly button and he said "what a violent child. You know, if you stuck with a paleo birthing diet the baby would have a better temperament." Lololol. Just to highlight the ridiculous baby advice we all tend to get around this time.

I think every new person I encountered yesterday made a comment about me being pregnant. Nothing judgemental just kind of pointing it out. I think people were surprised to basicly have their new sex ed teacher walk in and be seven months pregnant. I have so many internal comebacks for comments like this. "No way... I guess I should take a pregnancy test." "I just had the baby." *sobs*

I went outside to put a box of stuff in my car and met one of my new neighbors. After I got back inside I realized that I'm still wearing my pajamas. Which includes my comfiest pair of old maternity yoga capris. Which happen to have a 2-inch hole in the crotch.

At the store the other day a woman saw all my boys and said "wow, is this one a girl?" I said no, it's a boy. And she said "well lucky you, don't get pregnant again though or it'll be a girl" 😒 Literally just happened to me too. Random woman at Target, me with 3 boys in and on the cart and me obviously pregnant "I just have to ask" as she is walking by, "is it a girl?" "You know, I don't know." "Oh. Well hopefully it is a girl." "I honestly don't have a preference." Weird questioning look "If it is a boy, he would fit in and I may barely notice." Slight head tilt and walks off 😂😂😂😂😂 LOL that's the best response ever! This lady actually was the opposite and said she had 2 boys and 1 girl and always wished she would've had all boys instead. Said her girl was awful 😞 Are you officially team green now then?

He asked my friend at a bbq when the baby was due and she's like "he's over there, I had him 3 months ago". 🤤 insert foot in mouth

I have been super cranky lately. DS has been recovering from his tonsillectomy and is just up and down with his mood and it is wearing on me a bit. I hope he gets better soon. We signed him up for soccer and I ended agreeing to help coach his team. I am regretting this decision at the moment. I'm sure it will be fun but wrangling a bunch of 2 and 3 year olds while super pregnant might be a challenge. My H is supposed to help but we'll see how that goes.

My friend gave me a bunch of hand-me-downs on Sunday. I guess I wasn't paying attention when she was telling me what everything was, but I assumed it was just a bunch of baby stuff. I finally started to go through it today and realized half of it was maternity wear! It's like Christmas morning.

I must have not shut the front door completely and my 3 dogs busted out right when my neighbor was introducing herself. I was no help trying to grab them because of my shoulders and had to yell for DH to come out. I told her that I promise we're really aren't usually this much of a hot mess. She just laughed and said "I have 5 kids, we are always a hot mess". Lol.

I had to wait 30 minutes to see a nurse today for my Makena-not Makena shot. But I got the senior triage nurse and she is the bomb so it was worth it. Baby's heart rate was great and I haven't gained any weight since last week. Overall today is a win. I am rewarding myself with food but not too much since I have my GTT on Friday.
It has been PERFECT weather here the last couple of days and for the rest of the week, 78-80* for a high and sunny. I am sad that I have been stuck inside and can't enjoy it.
I feel like I am never here and that makes me sad. I lurk and read but posting has been hard. I am trying to make sure all of my bases are covered for my mat leave, and since I technically do two jobs it is a tall order.

Two days of work doesn't look that impressive, but I'm feeling accomplished. Everything looks so bare but it's because all of my routine/rules/anchor charts are made with the kids during the first week, so blank walls are pretty par for the course... Still a VERY long to-do list left. Womp womp.

But I'm leaning towards it is a boy, like 95%. But I don't do well with complete surprises, I don't want to have an absurd reaction on this baby's birthday either. I won't be sad if it is a boy, but it does mean I won't ever have a girl, you know? And I don't want to mourn never having a girl with an adorable little boy on my chest or even later.

clucky that is exactly how I felt. We chose to find out the sex because I wanted to prepare myself. I felt a twinge of sadness when I found out we were having our second boy, but only because I will never get to experience having/raising a girl (we are 99.9% sure we are done after this one). I mean, I still feel that way, but it doesn't take away from the love and excitement I have for this sweet little guy.

Need my hair cut. Didn't realise how much I did until it was resting on top of my boobs, as it's normally in a messy bun on top of my head lol.
I used to have very long hair, it came down to the middle of my bum, I only had it trimmed over the 8/9 years I grew it. Finally had enough of it and didn't have the time to maintain it like I did pre baby, so got it all chopped off a week after we got married in January. Sent the god knows how many inches of to a trust in the UK that makes hair into wigs for little girls with cancer.
I would love to grow it out again as my hair does grow thick and fast, but it's so unmanageable

I would actually be okay with more kids, DH is firmly 2 and Through. He's planning on getting snipped.

I spent an hour moving furniture today and still can't find a room setup I like so I'm basically screwing myself in a hole of unpreparedness.

cnf, planning layout is the worst part of setup. It's so hard to find a functional one. This year I only have 20 students (of course, the year I'm off) so it feels like I have a TON of space. Two years ago, I had 14 more than this... Let me tell you, finding a setup I liked was IMPOSSIBLE that year. Woof. Good luck with your setup!

It stays this organized for approximately 48 hours... then my true nature comes out and it all falls apart. I'm hoping to keep it tidy until my sub takes over this year!

clucky maybe go to a 3d place so it's less sterile and medical and more comfortable? This being the 5th boy I've ever been pregnant with, it's become like a bragging point now to me lol. Like, it's so unlikely to have all of the same sex, so I'm proud. But I get it💕 Maybe after you find out the sex plan a trip to the store to buy some cute outfits and a nice lunch/dinner? Then, obviously, update us asap!

I have three different types of tables in my room since we have to do a very specific style of stations teaching this year. I just can't figure out how to put things that makes sense. Other teachers have and I look at their rooms and like their setups but can't seem to replicate anything functional for myself.

pootsen and quinn I honestly think that when we find our, we won't share with people anyway, especially random curious people in Target. We would want the boys to meet their sibling before I hear any crap from the ILs too. ETA: This baby will get their own going home outfit, blanket, and a personalized onesie.

After we had our 3rd everyone was waiting in the hall but no one was allowed in until the older boys met their brother. We will do the same this time around as well.
