Comments -
I had to go into our cars dealership to book an appointment, the lady was like "oh these parts take 3 weeks to come in" and she was looking at me to reply so I just "yeah that's fine, there isn't a rush"
She said, "oh do you not want the car to be done before the baby gets here?"
Me: "Im due in November"
"Oh okay... the car will definitely be done by then" and went back to her computer screen.
I feel like I need to clarify that I'm due the BEGINNING of November when people ask when I'm due as I think they automatically think oh wow she's massive already, like no I'm nearly 30 weeks, the size of my belly isn't your concern

beefinch I've stopped telling people I'm due in November and just give them my due date. Here everyone goes ohhh a Thanksgiving baby! And I go NOOOOOO, more like a Halloween baby lol.

Just got my 1st blood draw and drank that nasty stuff. Oof. Reminds me of some of the worse drinks I had in college. Like Burnett's pink lemonade or fruit punch vodka blaaahh.

I have a bunch of episodes of the Office downloaded. John Krasinskis going to get me through this. Good luck!

Someone in line said "wow you must be due any minute!" No.

MH resembles John Krasinski.

Just messaged my doc about the SPD. Despite not walking around too much this weekend, nights have been rather painful, especially while rolling over. Blah.

Good luck today grumpycat and bazi ! I had my 1 hour test yesterday and am really really hoping I passed. Should find out today. I got an automated message that my CBC results were in and I'm anemic. Not surprised, it happened last time and probably explains why I've been so tired lately. Will look for my iron supplements when I get home tonight. All of my comments I get are about how big I am. Lots of "you must be due soon!" and surprised looks when I say not til November. And my family commenting on how my cousin who is due in December with twins is smaller than I am. :-|

Oh, also, I finally made it to Target yesterday after my appointment and they still had maternity clearance. I got two short sleeved shirts for $6 each! That's what I really needed so I was psyched. Debating going to another location to see if they have anything different. The one I went to had like 100 of the same shirt.

36 more minutes! And 1 more blood draw then I'm done! Yay! I don't feel like total ass anymore but hour 1 and 2 were rough. I'm eating a bagel with cream cheese when I get home. Baby and I are ready for food. This kid is going crazy kicking, hiccupping, and poking me.

Getting my snack now. Really hoping for no GD. Hope you are feeling better grumpycat. Sorry to be part of the club fancy. I will say it wasn't as bad as I thought. I'm definitely hungry and a little tired. But watching tv passed the time and the blood draws were quick.

Had a car snack and just made a cup of coffee. The tech offered me like a million snacks and drinks after she finished drawing my blood lol. fancy I'm sorry :/ bring stuff to distract yourself and make sure to get up to walk around every hour. And get the wifi password lol.

It should be a written rule somewhere.

I hope they don't say anything to my cousin, either, because she could be worried about her babies not being big enough since she'll almost definitely deliver early.

I posted this in the check in thread too. Anyone interested in a September Whole 30? I know we've previously discussed doing one after the babes are born but I need to reel in my eating and get back on track before I'm thrown into the chaos of life with a newborn.

does your office make you fast before the 1 hour test? mine said that it is not necessary anymore... this has me thinking I did have to fast for my 1 hour. My doc told me to eat a balanced breakfast. It's kind of crazy there is no standard for these things. I'm sure I'm just salty but the GD test is some bullshit.

When I took it with my son (about 3 years ago), I was allowed to eat until 2 hours before the test. It's so frustrating bazi I'm sitting on the salty bench with you.

To add to the "stop saying shit to pregnant women"...if one more man gives me advice about pregnancy I am going to scream. Oh, your brothers wife sister who gave birth 15 years ago had back pain too? FASCINATING!

I haven't slept well the last few nights which means I'm an emotional mess today. I'm usually not a crier and pretty level-headed, but without sleep I'm a monster.

laurensc927 I didn't want to completely ignore your question. I should probably be eating healthier, but I tried whole 30 in the past and it is not the right choice for me personally. After we have the babies though, I will definitely be down for a healthy eating thread!

I am my worst self when I don't get enough sleep. I work at 5 am all this week and I am a little worried about how cranky I will be by end of Saturday when I'm done working.
