I finally finished The Berlin Letters by Katherine Reay. It's a split time historical novel about the Berlin Wall. It was slow in the beginning, but then I literally couldn't put it down after the first half! 4 stars.

I read Rescue Me by Lauren Connelly very quickly and loved it. Starting Read Me, which is the second book in the series. It's a romance series that has animal rescue as a big plot point. So cute.
I'm 10% into Dawn Of The Cursed Queen. It's just as long as the previous two in this series, and with less daytime reading time it'll be a slower one for me to get through.

I read River Enchanted over the weekend. The worldbuilding could've been better, but overall I liked it. I'll read the second one in the series I'm sure.
I also read Neon Gods by Katee Roberts and it was basically erotic literature. I enjoyed the story and I wish it would've went more into the story and building up the series and not so much into all the sex. I'd be interested in the rest of the series, but I need the story to be the majority, not the sex scenes lol.

I read We Spread by Iain Reid and meh. It was a super quick and easy read and made me think. But it didn't have the same effect on me as Foe did by far

Late to the game like always but I just found and started Twenty Years Later by Charlie Donlea.
The prologue reminds me of a murder that happened in a very rich part of California years ago, but I'm not going to google yet to see if they are related. I enjoy reading spoilers but am challenging myself for this book.

I donโt think Iโve checked in all month but Iโve been reading a decent amount. I read Twenty Years Later, The Vacation and If We Were Villains and they were all 4 star reads.
I also read When Cicadas Cry and hated it. Itโs a southern mystery about racial issues and I thought that aspect was handled so, so poorly. Also (possible spoiler?) it had an animal death; which I hate.
I read Someone in the Attic, which was spooky and fun, if a bit OTT. 3.5 stars for that one.
Iโm about halfway through Love Story by Lindsey Kelk and itโs cute so far.

So I absolutely adored Neon Gods and the whole series so far - I actually find it to be a good blend of story and sex, but I like my books spicy. There is an overarching story plot that starts a few books in and it has me so intrigued and I can't wait to see how it ends. I would recommend you keep reading it, but be prepared for lots of spice.
I finished That Night in the Library and it was an ok locked-room mystery type of story; not my favourite and the ending wasn't great for me - but still about a 2.5-3 star read because I wanted to know what happened.
Next up is The Husbands for my book club!

I finished One Dark Window yesterday and enjoyed it. I will definitely read the next one, but I don't feel like I'm in a huge rush.
I just started Bookshops and Bonedust by Travis Baldree today (sequel to Legends and Lattes)
I'm also reading Ninth House

Iโm struggling to get into When the Moon Hatched. Iโm 100 pages in and itโs just blah so far and not grabbing me but everyone on bookstergram raves about it. Not sure if I should quit or give it longer

I finished Read Me and plan to start Resist Me, the third book in this series tonight.
I'm 34% into Dawn Of The Cursed Queen. Slow going for me.

Started and finished Falling earlier this week. It was pretty good but also ridiculous at the same time. I probably won't read Drowning because water freaks me out.
Now with all my holds forever away in coming through I am going back to books I have but haven't read yet. First up is Frozen River. It's very different but I'm enjoying it.

I gave up on When the Moon Hatched and started The Perfect Couple instead. Iโm really enjoying it and am already half way through, itโs so much better than Elin Hilderbrands more recent novels

I love the Winter Street series and am enjoying this one a lot but hated Hotel Nantucket and was meh on 5 star weekend. I have Swan Song ready to try too but am not hopeful, Iโll stick with her older ones in future

I finished The Husbands and it was a fun, quick read - but I wanted a bit more out of it; it got a bit repetitive. Overall still a 3.5 read because I couldn't put it down and loved the concept.
I started The Hike by Lucy Clarke and two chapters in I like it so far.

I read Allegedly by Tiffany Jackson and it was wonderful but difficult. All the TW on that one but it was a 5 star read for me.
I also read Madwoman by Chelsea Bieker. Itโs being marketed as a thriller but itโs more of a mediation on generational trauma and motherhood. It was interesting if a bit slow but the writing was lovely. I gave it 4 stars.
Iโm reading House of Glass by Sarah Pekkanen now and itโs fun so far.
