I feel so badly for her. Especially since she’s been getting harassed online since it happened. I am....feeling a way about this whole situation. Jordan, Ana, and Sabrina all had cases for bronze. Sabrina had an OOB that was not actually out on replay but they only submitted her D score in the inquiry not the neutral deduction for OOB. Then this 4 second BS when they accepted it on site. It is all not a good look. Personally I think all 3 should share bronze They should not begin the precedent of stripping a medal after competition for something that isn’t the athlete’s fault. Doping or breaking a rule, sure. But not this. What a gross way to end.

We’ve been joking about flag football because now all the tween boys in our group are like “I’m going to be an Olympic flag football player when I grow up”. Solid plan. lol

Receipts! www.instagram.com/usagym/p/C-itH1bJiB8/?igsh=MXFidXhjb2x6N3Mwbw==USA Gymnastics on Sunday formally submitted a letter and video evidence to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, conclusively establishing that Head Coach Cecile Landi's request to file an inquiry was submitted 47 seconds after the publishing of the score, within the 1-minute deadline required by FIG rule. In the letter, USA Gymnastics requests that the CAS ruling be revised and Chiles' bronze-medal score of 13.766 reinstated. The basis for the CAS ruling on Friday striking down the inquiry was that "The inquiry submitted on behalf of Ms. Jordan Chiles in the Final of the women's floor exercise was raised after the conclusion of the one-minute deadline provided by article 8.5 of the 2024 FIG Technical Regulations and is determined to be without effect." The time-stamped, video evidence submitted by USA Gymnastics Sunday evening shows Landi first stated her request to file an inquiry at the inquiry table 47 seconds after the score is posted, followed by a second statement 55 seconds after the score was originally posted. The video footage provided was not available to USA Gymnastics prior to the tribunal's decision and thus USAG did not have the opportunity to previously submit it.

I’m glad they stuck with weird for the closing ceremony. I’m enjoying it.

They are adorable (the women's superheavy weightlifting winners). This is the session I was at! It was honestly my favorite event and I'm now a huge fan of the lifter from Ecuador, Lisseth Ayovi. She was amazing and wonderful! All the lifters were incredible but just loved her intensity.

And the CAS apparently reached out to the wrong US officials for a response before making their ruling? All of this is so mishandled. And so unfair.
