Got out for a quick 3 mile run this morning. It was cooler than it has been but still super humid, so it was the wet, cold sweat kind of feeling. yuck.
5 min warm up run w/ Selena 30 min 2000s run w/ Andy

Congratulations GhoatMonket!! I watched one of your lift videos you posted and it's just bananas how much weight you lift! It legitimately blows my mind. bunnyfungo which Garmin did you get? Once you figure it out you'll be hooked and never run with another watch. I got my first Garmin like 15 years ago and have never looked back. I got the Forerunner 265S. It has some quirks that I’m getting used to as a forever Apple person but I’m liking it so far! My favorite part would be that I’ve taken it on a run and slept with it on and it’s still at 80% battery. My Apple Watch could never. I can’t wait to get a few more workouts in so I can try out the daily suggested workouts too. I like the idea of not having to think about it or just entering my race date and my watch tells me what to do.

The one I wear 99% of the time is like a decade old, lol. Maybe I'll upgrade one of these days to something that has some fancier new tech in it.

I haven’t checked in here in quite a while, but I’m still doing OTF and occasionally Peloton-ing. I used the crappy hotel gym to do some Peloton stuff and also did an OTF class in Ohio.
I went today and it was a fun power day. Lots of all outs and walking recoveries.

Today was busy and weird but I played pickleball, and then had some short blocks of time so I swam 1000 yards and later did some squats/bench. It’s been a month since I’ve done squats and 😬😳

I brought all 3 kids to run club with me tonight 😅 400m repeats every 4 min x 12. DD (13yo) and DS1 (10) did most of the reps, and are both faster than me lol. DS2 did about half and would, without fail, start out sprinting then run out of steam about 100m in. Very cute to see a 5yo in like 5th place amongst a bunch of adults though.
Total of 7km in 35C (100F)

I haven’t been posting but I’ve been doing the stuff. I was a little nervous about my 6 mile race in two weeks but I’ve come to terms with it being a “fun run” and that I will finish. It’s one of my favorite races so i will have fun.
Today I did:
30 min focus flow hips with Aditi 20 min low impact ride with Ally 10 min full body stretch with Logan

I ran last night. Thought I was running to beat the rain but the storm stayed around me. High winds, cooler weather, and no lightning - I will take it! Especially when the feel like temp is 103° 10 min warm up run with Kirstern 20 min walk + run with marcel then outdoor walking for another mile or 2 with my friend that showed up. total 3.6
editing to add, i also finished the summer challenge by hitting my 100 miles on Monday, so yea!!

30 minute intervals and arms ride with Ally Love this morning. I forgot to clip my fan on before starting and I was absolutely drenched by the end.

CF this morning was 6 rounds of 5 minutes:
Min 1: row Min 2: ski erg Min 3: bike erg Min 4-5: rest
Goal was to keep RPE between 70-80% and consistent calories for each machine each round. It was tough by the end, but also very boring. Now I just want to crawl back into bed.

Morning.
45 minute reggaeton ride with Camila 15 minute merengue ride with Camila 5 minute core with RK 5 minute stretch with Emma
I skipped yoga last night because it was way late by the time we went to bed. Tonight is the last night of softball for the girls so we'll go out for ice cream afterwards, so likely no yoga tonight either.
Food will be ok. Obviously ice cream is on today's menu, lol.

20 minute yoga, 10 minute arms and chest, and then a 45 minute run. The run was slow - it's humid here and I have not been consistent over the last month, but I'm proud to have gotten it done!

I am here, plugging along with the HCOF calendar. Since today is active recovery day, I did Matty's weekly walk-and-talk for my cardio. He always makes me laugh out loud!

5k home today, it was warm but I took it pretty slow. I’ll try to get a longer run in this weekend out on the coast, my favorite place to run 😊

I had a comically bad run today. Like the running part was ok but I had bathroom problems and lots of other weird issues. I was just laughing at one point. The music was good and whatever, can’t win them all. I’ll probably do some stretching and mobility tonight.

I took a 45 minute (slow) walk around the neighborhood with the kids on their bikes (and DS in the stroller, which surprised me but made things easier).

Today was a 3 mile run for me. I really wish my sister didn’t live at the top of a huge hill. Because no matter what route I take I have to run the second half entirely uphill. But I guess I did say I need more hills practice 😅 When I get back to Wisconsin I’ll automatically be faster now, right lol

Just to Colombia and Ulster counties. I know that isn’t considered upstate by lots of people who are further up! I’m pretty sure UAW was conceived of by people who live/lived in NYC, where the state is broken up into NYC, Long Island, and Upstate. Lol
