Today, I logged 2 Medium-intensity and one Light intensity workouts. I think tomorrow I'll just do one Light and some stretching.

Ok well I’m not quite to y’all’s level yet. I just started a 3 week beginners challenge lol. Doesnt matter. we don't have to race. I'm never near the top of the board. just being there is the win. There is a reason I don’t post times. Cause I’m slowish and no where near competitive. Just call me a tortoise. Slow(ish) and steady finished the race. 🤷🏻♀️

I never am either, and honestly don't even pay attention to others, I just focus on trying to beat my own best time. I think I have only ever taken one live class.

I literally need to get off my butt because my cholesterol was high at my physical last month. I've already walked two times this week to the park with my family which is two times more than all of December. I also have been that weirdo now who walks laps around the play structure when we've driven to a park. The true challenge will be motivating myself to go on solo walks instead of being on-line. Edit: I also stopped drinking sugary drinks after dinner and having hot water or chamomile tea instead.

I did an actual for real leg workout yesterday and I’m really proud of myself. I’m sore in the best way. But the kids want to go tobogganing today and I’m not convinced I’ll be able to walk up the hill 500 times.
I’m doing abs today.

I can feel muscles that are a little sore and my knee is achy but thats kinda how it always is. But not enough that I'm hurting or anything. I also managed not to fall so the arms are good. I need a good arm/ab workout today maybe.

We went ice skating today at an outdoor rink that will end its season on Monday. It felt so good to do 3 laps at my top speed after the previous 4 laps at my 4 year old's snail speed. I may need to get a skate pass to the indoor rink once the covid numbers go down in our area.

I did yoga and the bike yesterday. I’m getting more comfortable on the bike, so that’s good. But I still suck at it.

So maybe a short arm/ab thing.
I did walk the dog in the freezing wind up the hill, so theres that.

I walked 2.5 miles at lunch today, then came home and did my first non-beginner ride. (30 min Disney ride w/Kendall!) At first I wanted to quit, but then she played some good jams and I sang while riding and it was pretty ok.

Over 50 minutes on the Supernatural VR today. So sweaty and feels great.
S is killing it, too. He's really committed to losing weight and toning up right now, and actually has a goal weight in mind (I know, a number isn't everything, but it's helping him stay motivated this time). I think BIL's weight loss made him feel like he could do it too, and also the beach trip coming up is probably a motivator as well ☺️
