I’ve been stretching everyday and occasionally doing little work outs here and there. Walking lots but trying to be more intentional about it.
I want a peloton too! It’s not in the cards for me though. Maybe I can just get a trainer for my bike? Does anyone do that? Haha gosh, I wish I wasn’t broke.

MH started with the peloton app, using a trainer for his bike and sometimes the super cheap exercise bike we had. I made him do that for over a year before I agreed to an actual peloton. Now that we have the peloton he never uses it lol. I do though! You can totally make good use of the app and a more basic bike.

I have the poor mans peloton, an echelon. I love it because the bike was less expensive and the classes are much more intimate. I think the largest one I ever rode live was like 600 people. I almost always get a shout out on live rides.

I agree, there are many more quality bikes available for much cheaper.
I got a Schwinn. It does not include a big monitor or require a membership with purchase.
The only reason we went with the more expensive bike is because my husband used it 1-2 times a week and does not do spin classes.
Our rower has also been amazing.
I did breakdown and join a yoga studio. But I love the variety of classes and teachers. And it has been great for my mental health. ($99 a month, but I’ve been going 3-4 times a week). The membership also allows me to go to a full class and then stick around for a restorative.

I was about to get a membership to our rec centre that has pretty much everything and we were already swimming at, but it’s closed for at least two weeks. Maybe next month!

I'm always curious about how many steps I take each day/how far I walk, but I didn't want to wear anything on my wrist to track it so I set up my phone to count and it's been very motivating! I don't always have my phone in my pocket so it doesn't track everything but it tracks enough to keep me moving.

I did the Hamilton ride today and it was awesome. I might do it weekly, I was so pumped up! Hoping to get a walk in with the dog later.

13.5 miles on the bike.
And some how I did 48 flights of stairs today cleaning and cooking.

I'm back to feeling well enough to work out. Yay! Did a couple workouts both yesterday and today on the Supernatural Oculus app. I really like the Boxing and Flow workouts.

Ok I came back home for a few days. I was definitely comfort eating the last few days. I want to walk at lunch today, and do at least a short peloton ride after work. It’s hard to motivate myself to work out after work, that isn’t my routine. But I really need to get on the bike and get my cycle legs.

I walked with the dog and M for 2 miles in the arctic winds. I thought my face was going to freeze off at first but we made it. I bundled M up in her boots, parka, etc and then wrapped her up in a blanket and put her in my double stroller. She was as happy as can be despite not feeling well and the frigid temps. She really is a trooper, and the total opposite of her brother.

Surprise live ride by my fave instructor so i did that this morning instead of working. Whoops, WFH probles.
Feeling good for once. Just gotta stay away from all the carbs.

I brought up a set of workout clothes and set them on my treadmill, which is in my office. I don’t have time for a workout today but I am planning to do so during my lunch break tomorrow.
Hopefully my workout clothes sitting out will be the reminder/guilt that I need!

I've decided to start the Move 30-day yoga journey that Yoga with Adriene has again this year. She does a free 30-day series every January and I did one a few years ago and enjoyed it. Since I'm down to 4 pumps per day, I should have the time to squeeze in 30 min of yoga after the kids go to bed.

I did Zumba and body pump. It always shocks me how quickly I can put on weight and jiggle. I was just feeling better about myself a few weeks ago. And now I’m bigger and jigglier than I was when I last started!

Get rid of the stats at the bottom and the time at the top and just pedal. Find some music that moves you. Don't give any shits about your stats. NO. SHITS. They don't matter. You're starting something new, finding your groove. Figuring out which instructors speak to you. You've got this teej!
