I remember watching the unsolved mysteries case on this. I truly hope for her family they get some closure even if it’s not the best outcome. It’s been such a long drawn out ordeal IMO and I want her family to have some answers hopefully.

Susan knows now, but I dont think knew when this happened. I bet she knew since within a few months of the murder though. I think Ruben has helped cover it since the beginning.

I really hope her parents get answers and justice. Her dad was my high school principal. He was such a kind man, but there was a sadness to him. I remember thinking how difficult it must be to work with high school students every day after the loss of your almost same age child.

I have followed this case and recently listened to the podcast. I think the parents definitely know and helped Paul cover it up. I really don’t think she is buried at his dad’s property. I think she was at the mom’s house for a bit but was moved.
I hope her family gets closure one day.

I live local to where the murder happened, so people here are in a frenzy today. |

I listened to the podcast a few months ago and agree that Paul is completely guilty and his dad was involved and his mom knew after the fact. I really hope they find something to bring Kristin’s family some peace and justice.

It's really terrible how awfully the police handled the case at first. I don't think we'd be here 25 years later with no answers had the police done their job in '96. But I'm glad the current admin of the local depts are taking it serious.

Do we know what brought about the new search warrants after all this time? They won't say much about it because it's sealed but it seems like this new Sheriff has been pretty good about making this case a priority since he was sworn in in 2011. If i had to guess I'd say their ongoing investigation led to new info/witness statements that finally allowed them to get a judge to sign off on it. |

If you listen to the Your Own Backyard episode that came out after the bulk of the episodes aired, they also touched on the fact that after the podcast came out, the Flores family may have been discussing the case on their devices, so all electronics were seized a while back. The idea being that new evidence may also exist today that didn't exist back then in the form of electronic communication between the Flores family in response to the podcast |

I so hope they find something at the Flores house that can help end this for her family.
The podcast has an IG and the host did a few lives there today. Also it seems the search is over now. They dug under the deck and in the yard.
