So there are 4 news vans/cars parked on the street in front of the house but besides that, no activity. You went!! Do you know if the Flores’ went back? I couldn't tell from the road, but if they found something I'm sure not, right? Susan doesn't live there. It was still taped off like it was earlier. I may need to pop over again to see if the tape is down. |

Cadaver dogs hit on the Cabrio belonging to Paul's sister at the time of the murder yesterday in the garage of the house being dug up Why did they still own the car?? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I haven’t really followed this but did read the article posted in this thread. I am wondering this too. That’s a really old car. It was a blast from the past seeing it. My cousin and I had those as our “dream” cars when we were kids. |

This is so timely, I was just watching the Laci Petersen documentary yesterday and just watched the episode where they briefly investigated Scott for this disappearance. I always think of this. For a minute, I really thought he was a serial killer. |

It was a blast from the past seeing it. My cousin and I had those as our “dream” cars when we were kids. I was thinking earlier how cute Ermalinda must have been in that car in 1996 |

I am wondering this too. That’s a really old car. It was a blast from the past seeing it. My cousin and I had those as our “dream” cars when we were kids. Maybe because people suspected them and they were afraid if they sold it someone interested in the case might buy and inspect it for evidence? This was my thinking. Didn’t they yell at people who went near their property? I think they were on high alert. |

YES! The podcast was so well done (Your Own Backyard). Yes! The 4:20 alarm that the tenants would hear haunts me from the podcast. I had never heard of this case until today. What’s the story with this? |

So I'm kinda confused. Aee the parents divorced but still cool with each other or does the mom just have a side piece that's well known and nobody cares? At first I assumed split but then it talked about them driving by the house together.

The house Susan Flores owned was rented out shortly after Kristin going missing and the tenants would hear an alarm going off each morning at 4:20 am. Kristin was buried there and her watch was going off each morning. Either Kristin was still there when the family was renting or when Ruben and Paul moved Kristin they forgot the watch |

shamycooler Wow, small world. I went to that school as well. I would agree with everything you said, he was such a nice man but sad. Understandably. I remember reading about this story all over the local papers when she very first went missing and I really hope this is it for some closure for the family. I can’t even imagine.

Kristin was a year older than me in school and Cal
Poly was one of the schools I was accepted to and considered going to. I toured the campus a couple of months before she went missing. I also had a lot of family in the area where Kristin was from. So I would always see the billboards when visiting my family. I always felt so sad and scared when I saw the billboards or heard about the case. It hit so close to home.

When I drove by at 3:45ish this van was parked at the house. So Susan's boyfriend was at Ruben's house? Or just left his creeper van there?  |

What was Paul’s felony conviction for? I see he was recently arrested for possession of a firearm by a felon but I haven’t seen what the original felony was.

Yes, except they moved her somewhere but maybe not dad's house. Dad's house has the avocado grove. But I think she could also be just out in the woods. There is some rural areas very close to the parents houses (which are only about a 1-2 min drive from each other) |
