Yes, except they moved her somewhere but maybe not dad's house. Dad's house has the avocado grove. But I think she could also be just out in the woods. There is some rural areas very close to the parents houses (which are only about a 1-2 min drive from each other)

I think they didn’t know about the case at the time or didn’t know enough to connect the beeping watch to Kristin.

His dad had been covering his shit for a long time. Paul gets in a huge fight in school when he is younger and seriously hurts the kid and when asked about that fight later, Ruben is all...what fight? And there was a big court settlement, etc

But I read that they would get letters addresses to the family to please confess or help the police about her. If they didn’t know before, they should have put two and two together.

Mary Lassiter said the watch alarm only went off for a few weeks to a month after they moved in. I think they thought it was weird but didn’t put it together until later. That’s my understanding anyway.

I listened to the entire podcast today while cleaning. Am meeting up with a friend of mine who is from Stockton this weekend. He is older than Kristin, but I feel like her name has come up in conversation in the past, but I wasn’t fully aware of the case.

Cal poly has since fixed the grade issue if I am recalling correctly. My take away was that it wasn't a deliberate choice, but just sort of happened automatically when she didn't take her finals.
