Is this where I confess that a large part of my business is making hot sauces with craft beers (including Heady Topper)? So I have a pretty awesome beer fridge at work. For my drinking pleasure though, I love Anchor Steam from San Francisco and Switchback from Vermont. Queen City Brewery and Zero Gravity in Vermont have some pretty awesome selections too. Overall I prefer malty to hoppy beers. First - your job sounds amaze. Second - I came in to high five you on the Switchback! It's finally, FINALLY going to be available soon here in CT and I'm very excited. We always bring some back when we go to VT. I'm not a huge beer drinker, more of a wine girl, but I up my game in the summers. CT's brewery presence has really grown, so we have a nice variety around here (northeast in general). I also love Two Roads (any of them really) and Half Full IPA. Other non CT beers I have enjoyed are Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin (one of my all time faves), Troeg's Sunshine Pilsner, and Kona Big Wave.

I have a coworker that brings me in beers to try all the time. He just stopped in and handed me this: I know what I'll be trying tonight.

If anyone lives near the Founders brewery I'm going to need some of their Wet Hopped asap. I love their porter, they are in Michigan right?

I want in on the VT beer G2G. Also my favorite beer is from this small brewery in Maine- Bigelow Brewing, their Chili Chocolate Porter. Soooo good.

malarkey, I used to get it all the time when I lived in Brooklyn. Now that I moved further east, I don't see it anymore. It saddens me.

I didn't know that DuClaw sold bottled beers. We used to go the restaurant in Arundel Mills when we lived in Baltimore. I don't know if I can get it here in MA, but I'm intrigued.

I'm a stout/porter lover. Give them ALL to me! I honestly can't think of a specific one right now....
I recently got one out of the clearance basket at our local liquor store that tasted like mexican hot chocolate. MMMMMMMMMMM.

Favorite beers are wheat ales/hefes and occasionally scotch ales. Right now I'm really into Blue Moon's Summer Honey Wheat, but I would also take a Widmer Brothers Hefeweizen. I like pretty much anything that's not an IPA.
Favorite brewery is definitely Duck Rabbit. Such good beer.

Brooklyn EIPA - I haven't had it in a while but it was my go to beer at. LocAl restaurant.
Black market brewery (Temecula, CA)- all their beers are great but I'm a lover of all IPAs so I recommend Aftermath. I don't think they are distributed to stores but if your ever in the area I recommend checking it out.
Weins brewer (temecula, CA)- bonus is they have a winery and the wine and beer is excellent. Again, probably couldn't find in local store.
Evolution craft brewing company (MD)- I haven't been to heir actual location but had the pine'hop'le IPA. It is delicious and perfect for drinking in the summer. I've seen their beers sold in stores around me.
I'm going to a beer festival in 2ish weeks so I shall return with more recommendations!

I am going to have to say Great Lakes Christmas Ale is probably my favorite. Maybe it is just part nostalgia from trying so hard to get it back in college. It is much more readily available these days.

lucilleaustero I love Sip of Sunshine and Heady Topper, definitely two of my favorites. My other favorites are Ginja Ninja by Black Hog, GBot and Sea Hag by New England Brewing, any grapefruit IPA, and Road 2 Ruin by Two Roads. I have SO many others that I love, but we try as much as we can so I can't always remember them all. My favorite breweries are Avery, Upslope, Two Roads, Black Hog, and Mountain Sun.

If anyone lives near the Founders brewery I'm going to need some of their Wet Hopped asap. My husband loves Founders' beers. When KBS gets released each ear, he spends and entire day driving from distributor to distributor, since most here put limits on how many you can purchase. I just tried kbs for the first time Mother's Day weekend. I think imperial stouts are too sweet for me. That beer was like drinking a piece of cake!

My favorite lately has been split shot by Elysian. Espresso milk stout.
I don't think I like IPAs? I didn't drink beer until December. I stumbled on a local microbrewery and fell in love. I've been trying everything they put in front of me since. I have tended towards stouts and porters, but I like a lot of other things too.

If you like sour beers, I really liked the ones at Wicked Weed in Asheville. I wish I would have noted what I tried. I need to be better about using Untapped.

mapleme, Anchor Steam is my all time favorite. I had a brewery tour scheduled a few years ago, but then I went and got myself KU'd, so it didn't work out. I really love when Anchor releases holiday beer.
