Good morning! It’s kind of rain/snowing here. We don’t have anything on the agenda but putting things in my Instacart order for next week and a tap class for Josie.
Anyone else randomly ordering things off of Amazon? When I look at my recently purchased list from them I laugh because it’s such a odd mix of things.

Yes to Amazon. And I'm friends on Facebook with what Kristen found and she finds such good deals.

My uncle will be here in an hour to start tiling my back splash! So ready for the black spot to be gone!!! He'll be done with it tomorrow!

I forgot about that, @peach. What are you doing for the backsplash?

I forgot about that, @peach. What are you doing for the backsplash? White subway tile. Standard size. I just want classic and clean after staring at that spot for 9 months...

Morning. My goodness live is boring this way. I went out to deliver a birthday present to a friend & got some flowers for myself, I need something bright in my home. We picked our presents to send to my nephews and inlaws and send them anonymously, it was fun to see them all guessing . The kids made walkie talkies out of cans an string. Ds is counting animals (his new life goal, to count all the animals...) & dd is playing with magnets. It’s gonna be a long day...

Morning! The boys are drawing and I'm sitting with them and drinking coffee. I can't shake this raw, cold feeling since getting back from my run. Gross.
I just made my own random Amazon order: new running socks for me, a frame to replace one the boys knocked over, and the next 2 books in the Super Rabbit Boy series for Colin. Those books and marble videos are his current obsession.
No real plans aside from trying to keep the boys from spending all day on their Kindles.

My kids are obsessed with making them so maybe I should take a look. Also, without the library, I’m going to end up ordering the entire magic tree house series.

We had to Amazon a toilet seat because someone broke the lid and the clips that hold it on off ours. It took 2 weeks to come. I had to remember to sit down carefully every time. I could walk to Home Depot but they are only allowing 5 customers at a time in the store so I probably would have still waited 2 weeks. We wanted to get mulch but delivery is $90. I also ordered running shoes that were supposed to take over a month but shipped with the kindergarten notebook I ordered T that was considered essential.
We still didn’t get the hundreds of pounds of chicken we ordered from Perdue.

There is a YouTube channel for Jelle's marble runs and honestly they are pretty funny.

I think today we'll pack a picnic and drive to Mt. St. Helens. It's one of those places I've always wanted to go, but in over 12 years off and on of being here, never went. Of course visitor's center and trails will be closed. We'd just go for the view and drive.
Then grocery pickup tonight and seeing what we actually get from my order.

To stay on topic, I just ordered water beads. I thought it’d be a fun outside activity.

I remember when she screamed from the bedroom and we all had to go in there with buckets taking turns dumping them in the sink because it sprung a leak.

Morning!
I feel very rebellious—just declined a showing for tmrw (offered them other times). Sorry, I’m taking a day of rest. This goes against my pleaser tendencies but I think y’all are right, it’s time to push back.
It’s chilly and rainy here, which is not great for my overall mood. My hometown has reopened beaches for limited use and hours; I’m not even a huge beach person but I’d love to go walk on the beach right now!

Cadence is currently taking a combo class with her actual teacher. At first it was just her in attendance and the teacher said they could go over recital choreography, but then another girl showed up, so I doubt that will happen now. Oh well. They seem determined to still have the recital, just at a later date, but I don't see that happening.

I had a waterbed in HS, so early 90s. It was great. Until I drank too much one night and threw up in it...and vomit went under the actual bed, in between the liner. flamingo Gulf Shores is supposed to open their beaches May 3rd for swimming, fishing, etc, just no congregating, no umbrellas, chairs, etc. We are thinking about still going down on the 5th for the week. The house has a pool as well. Depends on what their mayor announces on the 28th. Nothing going on here today, as usual. I'm going to go for a run soon. I might try to get H to get the new fire pit out this evening and have a few drinks. Maybe a few groceries.

You can swim, surf, exercise; must maintain social distancing. And it’s only in the morning and late afternoon/evening hours. I think it’s a good baby step...hopefully people won’t abuse it and we can build from there.

flamingo hahaha sorry I forgot! In my head you’re tied to NE (stupid I know). I hope the pictures look worse than it a actually is! One story I saw used film/photo footage from weeks ago. So yeah I think there can definitely be a slant depending on what media you are seeing. We have miles of beaches so there is plenty of room to spread out. If I was home I would feel very comfortable taking my family there for a walk or bike ride. ETA: actual drone footage from yesterday after opening
