Well, the other little girl disappeared, so it ended up being just Cadence and they got to work on recital choreography. tgrimes what can I put down for tap class to protect our floors? Will cardboard work or will she slip around on that? Cardboard should work. Or make her do it outside. Lol Maybe I could set her up in the garage. That's where her teacher was.

klong11 I have no tap experience but a friend of mine posted a video of her daughter tapping and thanked someone for buying her a tap floor so I guess there is something you can buy? It was just a black circle and she is using it on an area rug over a hardwood floor.

lahdeedah I recommend looking up how many ice cubes they make at a time. Ours makes 6. It's so goddamn slow. Like, painful. But with the French design, they are either made in the ceiling (ours) or they are made on the upper shelf, and you lose that valuable fridge space. With the side by side, it probably isnt as much of an issue. We have 2 counter top oce makers. We bought one when H had his knee replacement since we knew he would go through so much ice. My dad brought the other one by awhile ago. They're great when we know we are going to the lake. We start making ice days in advance and keep it in the deep freeze to fill coolers.

We decided not to drive to the mountains today because it's overcast and we wanted a view. So we're just relaxing today. Getting takeout lunch. Puzzling. Watching Ozark. My husband didn't watch the first 2 seasons with me so he's catching up. It's killing me to not watch the new ones.

We made some clothespin dolls from a kit. Luckily Cadence only wanted to make 3 and not all 6. That took forever gluing down cloth and shit. Is it bedtime yet?

We just started this week and are in 1 still. How did I not know Jason Bateman was in this? I love him. I was thinking we had started watching it before, but once we actually watched I realized we had not.

peachsmama how are you liking the farmhouse sink? Do you find the white high-maintenance? What do you think about one giant basin vs having a separator? DH wants a sink like that and I admit they are so pretty. I'm just not sure if the cleaning aspect would drive me crazy.

After I finish dishes I wipe it out with my sponge and spray. I love the giant basin because the only dishes I really wash are pots, pans, cookie sheets and my sharp knives. So I need the space. My friend has one and every thing that touches it makes it have a dark spot. She has to clean it daily with bar keepers friend. It's so odd. But they moved into the house and it was there so I'm not sure what kind it is. I got mine from home depot.com. it was only 400. Which is on the lower end of cost for those. And its the largest you can fit on a standard cabinet. A wanted copper and they were 900 for the cheapest.... I shot that down lol.

I first read "water bed" and thought they still make those 70s gems? My cousin had one in the 80s. We used to beg to go up to his room and try it out at family parties. I had a twin size one for quite a few years growing up and both of my parents had them. Apparently they were big fans.

I do. I like it but the container is small and its slow at making ice I feel like. So if you use a lot of ice daily, you may not like it. That is true. I didn’t notice a speed issue but if you wanted to fill coolers or big tubs or whatnot it’ll be slow going bc they make less. Not to beat a dead horse or anything but the ice maker in our Samsung fridge is in the fridge compartment and comes through the door. It has been the biggest problem with that piece of junk. But I’m sure other brands are fine.

I'm not even sure if it would work with the configuration of our sink area but it's on my radar. We put in a stainless undermount with separator in our last house that I really liked, but DH prefers the single basin.

I love it, and chose the divided sink over the single because of how long it would take to fill if I am hand washing dishes. Some cookie sheets are too big to fit all the way but for the most part everything fits no problem. One thing that is annoying though is mine has squared off corners and sometimes grime can get caught in there. So I just have to scrub it a little more thoroughly.

Now that I’m all caught up, hi guys! DH and I spent the literal entire day building the swing set we got. DH picked it up yesterday after work. The girls impatiently waited all day, asking when it would be done. They are so excited and happy to have it. We did take a break midday because one of the boards had a crack in it so I glued it and we had to wait for it to dry. I ran to target to order my prescription sunglasses in their optical dept. This dude came in to see the eye doctor and brought his wife and 2 kids. I have no idea why he didn’t come alone but his daughter was coughing a lot. So annoying. People don’t know how to follow rules and it drives me insane. After target I was going to go through the Starbucks drive thru but the line was literally 20 cars long so I skipped it. I’m taking a hot bath because my body hurts and then I will be laying in bed and trying my hardest not to get up until tomorrow. I have a feeling I will be very, very sore.

Yeah, I've always had the separator and I like the 60/40 set-up. That is a good point about filling it.

It takes literally an hour to fill. So I just do not fill it. If I have dishes that I'm scrubbing I fill one of the pots or bowls with soapy water and work out of that.

Jason Bateman is such a good charismatic actor. I love him in dramas and comedies. He barely ages too.
