But it snowed through the night and school was canceled. So at least Matthew only has one absent day against him for this sickness.

Same here klong11.  She was terrified of being out of dress code and she wanted to wear red for heart disease today. We added a pearl necklace after I took this. |

It’s super windy after the storms last night, but the sun is out for the first time this week (amen!)
Just the usual here—laundry and housework. We are going out for dinner tonight and I may make some brownies at some point.

So cute klong11 and tgrimes! They make delightful little old ladies  B’s teacher mentioned celebrating the upcoming 100th day in her weekly email newsletter, but did not mention any dressing up. I’m cautiously optimistic... |

Just another annoying day at work for me. Last summer I put a lot of time and effort into find a domestic supplier for some of our biggest volume items we order from China. I recommended 3 potential suppliers to my quality, engineers and management team. Nobody did anything with it. With the delays coming out of China now, everyone is screaming that we have to find someone domestic again. Part of me is laughing that no one did anything with all my information, part of me is so fucking annoyed, that I want to scream.
So I'm dealing with that fun this morning.

Want to know how I know this? Because H stepped on one this morning and then tried to remove it with his hands. Apparently when we had the mouse in our house MH put a glue trap inside the recliner and forgot about it.
The things I have to google at 6:30am.

Andddd I had a gender reveal and a coworker announcing she’s pregnant with a baby duck (seriously where are the days of just fruits...) today at work. I just want to go hide. I mean I’m so happy for them, but it’s taking up so much energy to keep my own emotions in check...

My SIL has a kids walker from when one of my nephews had hip surgery when he was this age. She was hoping Evie would have to dress like an old woman so we could use it! |

It’s interesting to see all the names. Today we have a Rhy.lee.

For the life of me I will never get the younique spellings. It doesn't make a common name special--just hard to spell. On a related note, I've always heard all the jokes about Starbucks going out of their way to spell customer names wrong. I don't SB often so I've never noticed. I went there the other day and they spelled my name "Brittani."  That had to be intentional. Why wouldn't you spell it the standard way? And if you were going younique, I'd think Britney would be the most likely alternative, or even Britni if you were really going out there. *PDQ* |

Sorry for the frustrating mornings and rough days. Lots of hugs nam2013. Nothing special here. I work this weekend so I'm kind of in a frump today because I'm not looking forward to it. At least the weather is supposed to be nice for a few days. We've had nothing but rain (flooding here and some evacuations) and it's finally supposed to be dry for a few days. |

They very often misspell my name, it is imho the most common way to spell it... I’m most annoyed when they reply to an email I wrote them and they still can’t spell it the right way. Read people read.

There’s a book about a woman who called herself Amy at Starbucks, my aunt took after her and now does the same . ETA I now see that this in no way is an accurate response to the earlier post 😂. |

Read people read. I have a driver that has worked for us for 2 years, we only communicate by email. My name is in my signature and he has never spelled it right... drives me nuts. |
