Oh my! Like 5 coworkers he has been around? No, thank god. His company is based in Britain and they have offices in a few different countries. The other infected employees are in China, South Korea and Malaysia. He talks to them every Tues/Thurs morning on conference calls. 10 people from his office here were at that conference and are still not allowed to come to work. I do not need MH picking that shit up and bringing it to H.

We had this discussion a long time ago so she snap chatted me how she says them. She accents different parts of the words for male/female. I also say them the same. Lots of people do pronounce them the same but I haven't not since college. Maybe there's something about people from the northeast, I dunno? Really it's how you move your mouth - think Air vs. Err(or). I'm gonna need a SC of this, please.

Discussing names, I'm trying to remember everyone's names from FB because I'm terrible with names of people I've met in person! Curious if you know who I am since we are friends! It's a test! Also I recently friended jewels and worried she'd have no clue who I was. This may be true but she at least accepted based on mutual friends! LOL I went to your page and recognized your kids

Also I just realised dh’s Friends are getting old. They wanted to stand on the top balcony during a concert. The ground floor was too crowded 🙄. Half way through I went downstairs with Dh, you need to experience music!

Makes me feel like I’m on the verge of a panic attack.

Ugh cagoldi . Your sitch is reminding me of my longtime dental hygienist back in FL. Her ex made their divorce so, so much more difficult than it needed to be. Sorry you're going through this. eta: you don't think he's hiding anything financially, do you? That was one of the issues this gal had...they had money and he was trying to hide stuff to protect his assets, I guess. My friends ex made their custody court case soooooo bad that his own lawyer fired him as a client....

I think maybe I don't really call them anything? Typically it's during a medical procedure and I'm talking to the patient or make eye contact/touch the shoulder of the parent to ask a question or offer advice. If I'm just walking into the room I ask the patient who's with them and they say mom/dad/grandma/aunt ext. I'm also not a Dr or nurse so I'm not spending a ton of one on one time talking to the parents and really not that important! I disagree with your last line! As someone who has utilized the CLS many times...you ARE that important!! Maybe the most important person in that moment! I love you and glad you feel that way. I'm constantly thinking about you and frequent families. You are all true superheroes. Really above superheros.

I’ve never thought that hard about what kids call me. I think I’m usually H’s mom or just my first name. Things in this part of the country are really not formal.

It does drive me insane when people who are not my kids call me “mom” or “mama”.

I took a tip from vino and got an electric queen sized blanket. Sleeping on top of that thing was heaven.

I got a bunch of texts this afternoon about a pop a lock service request on a Chevy and roadside assistance. We don’t own a Chevy. I’m so tempted to click the invoice link to see what name it has on it, but I also fear that it is click bait for something bad.
The only person who owns a Chevy is FIL, but no way my number is associated with it. So weird.

Too cute klong11 and tgrimes , they look great. It’s 100th day today and they were told they could dress up and B nixed that as quickly as I could ask if he wanted to. Thank goodness. He had to fill a bag of 100 things and with 2 days notice we did Lego pieces, I knew our 2 million pieces of lego would come in handy at some point. Does B normally enjoy dressing up? My B does not. We had "favorite book character" last Friday and the teacher suggested someone from one of the nursery rhymes they've been working on lately. B was perfectly happy with a blue shirt and jeans for Little Boy Blue, lol. Not at all. He excludes himself from any and all theme days. Just this year he’s gone in pyjamas for pj day, but even then it’s strict instructions that they CANNOT be the ones he slept in, which I wouldn’t allow anyway. Works for me kid, less faking for me 🤷♀️

His BFF really likes dressing up and has all sorts of costumes. When we went over there last week the friend wanted to dress up as Star Wars characters and I could tell poor B was so uncomfortable, but he was a good sport and went along with it, lol. DH is also not into dressing up so I guess he comes by it honestly!

Hi, post whore Vino coming at ya!
I took today off and drive MH vehicle out to the summer house, it was annoying me so I canceled insurance and now it’s out of the way.
My Mom and I rarely spend time just the two of us when the kids aren’t around and it was nice. We’ve come a long way from me growing up and my 20’s, we’ve been ‘forced’ to get better cause of my Dad passing and the kids. Who would’ve thought?

Yikes tgrimes, scary stuff! I've seen on the news that there are I think 2 (?) cruise ships just hanging out in the ocean packed with people b/c cases have been dx'ed on board. I'm not really a cruise person to begin with so being trapped on a boat for 2 weeks in quarantine sounds like fresh hell to me.

Some of Mh’s family planned a cruise out of Spain for May of this year. I’m kinda glad I declined it now with the coronavirus outbreak. I want no parts of being stuck in the middle of an ocean.
