Anyone else struggling to have the energy to parent their older kid(s)? I solo parent on weekends, and today my kids are destroying the house. I'm basically sitting on the couch like 🤷♀️🤷♀️ have at it, kids. I'll clean it up later, I guess. Whatever.

I think it’s just bc I’m tired and have lower patience lately.

I have almost no patience. DD is done with school on the 18th. I'm nervous about the entire month I have between then and birthing this baby. Luckily we'll be on vacation the first week of July.

peachesncream: Yeah, sometimes I feel so done. cookswithwine It gets worse with lack of sleep and anxiety. Literally getting by on self-hypnosis sometimes. *breathes in* "I am" *breathes out* "calm" *breathes in* "Breathe in relaxation" *breathes out* "Breathe out frustration"

I ended up ordering a pg support belt. Part of me thought I only have 10w left I don’t want to waste the money. The other part said that’s 10w of pelvic pain that’s going to most likely get worse! I really hope it helps.

cookswithwine: I feel better with my support band but I also don't want to wear it all the time. I'd say worth it.

cookswithwine ugh, I have one but I've been afraid to use it since baby is breech and I think someone here said it can restrict movement!! I hope it helps you and I'm jealous haha.

peachesncream: I think that was me. It was written on a support band I tried on. I think if you wore it for like a couple hours it might be okay? Ask your OB/GYN obviously. I know my supportive belly band is okay because I asked the PT.

Has anyone read Expecting Better by Emily Oster? I’ve been reading it and finding her collection & analysis of studies about pregnancy recommendations fascinating.
