Got my first unsolicited bump touch today by a former coworker and the comments have started. “That’s gonna be a big baby”. “You’re due in August?”’ Ugh. I hate the comments!! peachesncream we are planning some outdoor time on Sunday bc it’s supposed to be nice. And I have a hair appointment on Saturday. Looking forward to some fresh highlights and a nice trim.

peachesncream we’ll probably go to a work-related picnic on Saturday. I’m not really excited about seeing work people on an off day, but it’s at a nice park and they’re catering from a local bbq place. Also emergency vehicles and possibly a helicopter will be there, so DS will be thrilled. Sunday I’m taking DS to his friend’s birthday party.

friendofdobby: So helpful! peachesncream: It's my goddaughter's baptism this weekend so we will be heading there tomorrow. Here's hoping that DD does really well on the long drive there & back.

My mom loves to touch my stomach without being asked. I know it’s my mom but it makes me uncomfortable. I invite her to touch when he’s active but she does it all the time. She’s a very sensitive person so it’s not even worth bringing up.

I’m in nesting mode. We got the pack n play set up in a cleared out space in DS’s room last weekend. Today we moved a huge desk out of our room and ordered the crib.

Why is no one from earlier BMB posting birth stories anymore? I love reading birth stories while pregnant.

cookswithwine: I never posted mine with DD because I only wrote it this year. My group moved to FB so it seemed weird to post and I was embarrassed it to me so long to be able to finish it.

We are mostly/all ST+Ms here, right? We could have a previous birth story thread! I need to find mine in all the previous TD/TCF/whatever iterations, anyway.

peachesncream I'd be up for a previous birth story thread! It would be fun to compare them as we start getting new stories on here:)

Ugh, doctor today guessed that baby is breech. I am 30 weeks, so I know there is plenty of time for baby to move, but I'm frustrated to be going through this again! My stubborn DD3 was breech until 36 weeks or so and I spent a lot of time freaking out about it 😂🙄

DD1 was breech too, and I spent a lot of time with a bag of frozen peas up by my ribs where her head was 😂. I also tried a lot of ridiculous inversions trying to get her to turn! I hope your little one flips soon!!

My stubborn DD3 was breech until 36 weeks or so and I spent a lot of time freaking out about it 😂🙄 mine is breech still too, both my big boys were head down by now. It would be my luck that the longest pregnancy I have is also breech so VBAC wouldn't be an option 🙄

I think baby is still breech based on getting kicked in the cervix and bladder all the time. I really hope he turns so I have a chance at a VBAC.

peachesncream Baby just turned recently and was finally head down at today's appointment. I'm 34+2 today and honestly did not think she was going to turn!

I just want to sit here and eat Doritos. I am now remembering that the MW said something about not eating heavy foods before the GD test, which I will hopefully do this afternoon... so yet another reason to find something healthier to eat. Advantage to rolled Doritos: DD doesn't seem to know that they're chips or doesn't care and asked me for crackers when she saw me eating. She's happy with Ritz and grapes.
Baby was sitting in a high but clearly head down position this weekend and then yesterday slid back down. I don't know if it's a coincidence that I took off my support band on Monday (it needs a wash) and that the taping for my scoliosis basically fell off yesterday.

Anyone else carrying super low? I carried high with DS so this is a new experience. I’m so uncomfortable and feel like my pubic bone is going to split in half, especially when I try to get up from lying down. I need to try my supper belt out to see if that helps. @kore is your support band helping with discomfort?

friendofdobby: I think so because I do have more back/sciatica issues when I don't. I don't know if it would have helped when baby was hanging out super low. sammysam: Solidarity. I don't have the feeling all the time but with BH I waddle through. DH was like "why are you so far behind us?" And I was like "well I'm having a contraction so this is the speed I can move at right now!"

You know what I miss during pregnancy? Cold medicine! I just want to clear this fog in my head and breathe through my nose!

Ugh just went to HR to ask a couple of questions about FMLA and healthcare insurance. So super unhelpful. I’m so frustrated.

I am trying to deal with it for school and I have to do stuff I feel is so dumb like email my professors to officially declare my pregnancy. HELLO YOU HAVE SEEN ME YES I AM PREGNANT. DUH.

That is quite ridiculous! I also just feel like my tolerance for everything is so super low. I’ve sat and cried at the same spot at work 2 weeks in a row. This is not my normal. I don’t like it.

peachesncream : To your professors? That's weird. I could imagine administration but yeah, ridiculous otherwise! friendofdobby : I'm sorry, that sounds rough. It's frustrating when you need information and the people who should have the answers don't or evade answering. On the note of emotions: Last pregnancy I had a panic attack and called in sick to work because our toilet clogged & overflowed. Pregnancy is hard!

28 weeks today. My body celebrated by giving the worst braxton hick I've had so far. I was literally getting up from the dining room table, nothing crazy to cause it. It makes me want to be a potato and do nothing but eat all day.

@kore I think I have to get a doctor's note for the academic affairs office but then also email my professors letting them know I declared and what accommodations I would like. Really I just want to be excused from class if I go into labor 😂🤷♀️ For the amusement of everyone though, here's the accommodations list. For some reason some of these just cracked me up.

I’m still in serious nesting mode. Washing all the baby clothes now. SO is putting together the crib. I’m pretty sure I’m driving him batty but 🤷♀️.
