I am so happy that it's officially spring and the weather is finally bearable!! I am totally the crazy midwesterner that goes outside when it's 40 with short sleeves and no jacket.
Does anyone have a pregnancy support belt they like? I am thinking of trying one this pregnancy to see if it helps with my back pain and RLP pain.

I am so so so happy for some warmer weather! No recommendations for a belt but I hope someone gives a good one because I’ll also be getting one. Back pain starting to bother me.

Neotech on Amazon is what I've used. Just got a new one for this pregnancy.
We're on vacation with family and.... Man. I missed them, but I want to live at least 3 hours away from them so I don't have to spend so much time with them.

I'm waiting at my OB office and this lady is playing a game with the sound on. I want to stab her.

That is the most annoying elodin. So many people lack common courtesy in this world.

I’m waiting at the OB too, and the doctor isn’t even here yet. Funnn.

So what’s everyone’s sleeping/pillow set up these days? Mine is getting rather elaborate...

So what’s everyone’s sleeping/pillow set up these days? Mine is getting rather elaborate... 4 pillows at my head to prop me up and two between my legs, and one at my back.

So what’s everyone’s sleeping/pillow set up these days? Mine is getting rather elaborate... My SIL gave me one of those giant C shaped pillows. I forget what it’s called. But I love it. I use that to wrap around my body and under one leg and a regular pillow to sleep on.

peachesncream I’m thinking I’ll buy the support band I saw at the secondhand store. I wanted the Bravado one but it seems too long for my short torso. robinanne my sister loaned me her Jolly Jumper pillow & I have an Aussie belly bean pillow from last pregnancy. Early on I had one in front and one behind with some overlap but one always fell off the bed. Right now (because I was going to nap lol) I am using the Jolly Jumper one & a regular pillow for side sleeping. I wish my sister had bought one of those massive pillows because I need way more back support this pregnancy.

robinanne I have a snoogle. I love it. I actually got DD one also. She calls it her nest. She snuggles up in hers and I snuggle up in mine and even though we bed share in a fairly small bed she never ends up on top of me. Magical. I'll keep using mine after pregnancy:)

I still find myself sleeping on my back a lot which I know is not good. I turn to my back once in a while to give my hips a break. I remember in previous pregnancies I could actually feel my legs going numb when I was on my back, so as long as you still feel ok, I think it’s alright in moderation!

cookswithwine A trick I used last pregnancy, and saw recommended by a doctor online recently: have some sort of pillow under your back so that you are still tilted to the left. I slept like that a lot last time.

Browsing for nursing bras and realized that Bravado doesn't carry 32 band past DD. Looks like I'll be buying Hotmilk again. I just didn't like how lacy the 2 bras I bought were or the shape of their nursing tanks. I do like that the bra extender is already part of the bra though, I've been wearing them since I'm up a band size now anyway. If you feel like shopping for me, I'm debating buying: Bra and PJs (tank & pants)

I’m going nursing bra shopping today. These regular bras are cutting into me now. Last pg I got mine from target. They were super comfy but I had to toss them when I was finished nursing bc they were worn out.

I bought a few new nursing bras about a month ago (I stumbled across a sale). I got a few different kinds and styles. I actually was still wearing my old nursing bras when I got pregnant with this LO so after almost 5 years of use I figured it was time to invest in some new ones:)

I think the blanket I ordered for baby was printed in the wrong color and I'm feeling ways about it. I really hope they'll fix it. :/

Oooh I like the look of those Hotmilk bras. I desperately need some new ones. I really love the sleep nursing bras from Target for around the house and nighttime. Plus you get two for $20.

Anyone else have experience with sciatica? Did PT or chiropractor help significant?

I got my summer semester nursing school schedule and I'm freaking out 😭 they will be very accommodating of my pregnancy, I am just nervous about everything else. It doesn't help that I lost my childcare. My daycare provider kicked my 3 kids out that I send FT in favor of a FT infant and a kid who goes one day a week. I'm so frustrated and stressed. I sent an application to a nanny agency, so I have everything crossed that works out!

On the plus side, the people I know with nannies are very happy with their arrangements. Hoping it works out!!

Toddler moms, opinions please! My DD2 will be 3 in July. Until recently, she would nap from about 1-4 every afternoon. Well, she loves her nap, she would still do that, but she started getting more difficult at bedtime (7:30) so I’ve been keeping her nap to an hour and a half or less. Now we’re in this weird place where she’s upset and cranky when I wake her up from nap, (it’s actually kind of sad, she cuddles me on the couch and tries her best to go back to sleep) but she’s decent going to bed. Today, I kept her awake all day and she fell asleep in 60 seconds for bedtime..... but of course she was not in the best mood all afternoon. What would you choose: short nap or no nap?

robinanne I would lean no nap, but I have heard that wind-down time is still really important. Would she do 30 minutes or so of "quiet reading time" or would that put her to sleep? My 4 year old does this instead of nap (well, sometimes she accidentally falls asleep haha). Also, solidarity. I fought my 3 year old for an HOUR today at naptime. Finally gave up. 15 minutes later... 😏😏
