That seems like good odds..what is is supposed to be? I think I saw anything under 300 considered to be higher risk. Hope they approve additional testing so you can get to a good place.

So we had our dating ultrasound today. Everything looks good, measuring 8w2d with a HR in the 160s, based on LMP I should be 8weeks. That’s it I thought, excellent news...then the midwife comes in and says there’s two. Another baby measuring 7w1d with a HR of 133. WHAT!!! She said both babies have normal heart rates, but it’s very possible the smaller might not be viable. So I’m scheduled for another ultrasound in two weeks. So lots of thoughts/feels, I have no idea what to expect, I hate being in limbo, etc. Also, of course this is comical in that we were fence sitters for baby number 3 until the week we tried to conceive... DH and I just sitting dumbstruck atm. This is literally my husband’s greatest fear lol

I threw up in my mouth at the gym this morning and had to swallow it back down. The end of first tri can't come fast enough.

I found a sitter for our NT scan (no children allowed). Going to cost me $75. Prices here are insane. Can't wait to move.

Glad you found a sitter marshian, but that is pricey! Anyone else's clothes getting tight at barely 10 weeks? I'm going to have to start leaving my pants unbuttoned at this rate.

A few of my pants are getting tighter (one I need to use the rubber band trick) but luckily most of them were too big on me from when I lost some weight last year. My laziness and hatred of shopping paid off I guess.

I don't bother with decaf tea. There's not much caffeine in it. Guess it depends on how much you drink, but average around 50mg/cup of black tea.

I thought that was per 8oz, but it’s per 12oz. I can easily drink 48oz if I’m not paying attention to caffeine intake...and have easily drunk twice that in a day. I’ll probably get decaf just to be on the safe side.

I still drink an 8oz cup of coffee most mornings (if it sounds good which was a no for a long time). I'll drink an iced tea here and there as well. I think the recommendation is under 200 mg, right?

I was just drinking a V-8 Energy drink and it derives its caffeine from Green tea extract. On the can, it says "not recommended for pregnant women" but the caffeine content is under 100mg. I'm guessing that warning is just about the caffeine? I figured it was well-known you can have it during pregnancy, within reason, but it caught me off-guard. Maybe they need to cover their asses, just in case?
I can't imagine it's due to the green tea. I know they say it can block folate absorption but...idk.

If you look at prenatals, they say not recommended for pregnant women 🙄so I often ignore that warning lol

Give me all the coffee! Lol I keep it to 200ish mg same! I aim for 200 but there are some days it's 0 and some days it's more than 200, depending on what I can physically tolerate for the day.

I remember trying to avoid green tea last time because I read it might maybe cause very minor uterus "contractions" or something like that. My IF brain was super paranoid so I didn't drink it. There's so much we can freak out about.

I seriously feel like each pregnancy is my first time 🤦🏼♀️

hopefully I'm interpreting the latest conversation correctly, but it sounds like I'm not the only one that's fairly breezy about the "forbidden" food/drinks list. Within reason, anyway.
A month ago, I had a very, very awkward conversation with my coworker who is extra about EVERYTHING and just delivered last week about the percentage of alcohol left over in a white wine pasta sauce (after cooking...) at a restaurant.

She lost her mind over a trace amount of potential alcohol in a sauce 🤣 I'm concerned for her super-anal personality once she realizes children don't follow any kind of rules whatsoever.
