Good morning. I got home last night after the boys were in bed, so aside for sneaking in to give them kisses, I haven't seen them yet. I feel awful - my cold turned into an awful cough and my chest is all tight. I should probably take a few days off from running and see a doctor.
Colin just came in butt naked and tried to climb in my bed to hug me. I love that weirdo.
I just saw the news, this is insane. It's never going to stop, is it?

And hello. I'm at work. I have a headache because last night we were singing happy birthday to C and right before he blew out the candles he said, "I wish for a new mommy!". So naturally I proceeded to then drink about 293749236549263492 glasses of wine.

Ugh some bitch just bumped my car twice in the drive through at Dunks. She said it was an accident and then yells that it wouldn’t have happed if there wasn’t six feet between me and the car in front of me. I lost it! I was actually super close to the car in front of me because I hate when people do that. It was ugly but there was no damage to my car so I left. I just got home and they forgot my damn bagel. Not the best start to the day.

I wanted to give you all a glimmer of hope admist waking up to this terrible news. The elections might have been a mixed bag, but we had some big win in Washington. Thanks to Ballot measure 1639 passing we now have the toughest gun restrictions in the country. Maybe other states will follow suit, or even better, maybe someday we'll have a leader in the White House who will pursue having it be a federal law. We also passed a bill requiring police have more training to reduce the use of deadly force. Cher because I know you're passionate about commonsense gun reform. |

I explained that it hurt my feelings and made me sad that he'd say that. It was already one of those weeks where I'm kinda feeling like I'm failing at life in general, so it really brought me down. |

wineallthetime ugh, kids. Did you ever read the book Mrs. Nelson is Missing as a kid? Basically the kids are acting like jerks not appreciating their nice teacher. So she disguises herself as meanie Mrs. Viola Swamp for a few days. Suddenly the kids realize had good they had it. Sorry for the shitty start to your day wedding.

There's a bar with the same name 30 minutes from us that all of A's cousins go to and a lot of our friends. I about had a heart attack until they said california.. so awful.

Glad to hear your state making some good moves! Hopefully others will follow. MH actually teaches Use of Force classes as a certified master instructor and a lot of departments and agencies are really stepping up their game to ensure their teams get more training. It consists of a lot of exercises and scenarios where they have to think quick and make decisions on the fly using the least amount of force to handle the situation. Then they discuss all the coulda, woulda, shoulda’s, and do it over and over again with different scenarios. He’s been getting more and more requests for training over the last year or two. |

S and I are headed to STL for an ophthalmology appointment today. Just a day trip. 3 hr drive there. Probably 3 hours there, then 3hr drive home. Then Sunday we go back to STL to visit for a few days before the next appointment on Tuesday. That one is for an EEG and Neurologist. Hopefully we will get some answers about her loss of use in the right hand (it still doesn’t work).

Morning ladies. Another rough night with the puppy, I may need more coffee than normal this morning. joelies I hope whatever you have gets through your system quickly and you feel better! She hasn't said it for awhile, I just keep telling her how much her words can hurt when she says stuff like that.
