lfig I'm glad you got a good report on S today. How is she doing with the potty? She’s gone twice but that’s it.

Having a bad reaction to my allergy shot today. My right arm has a baseball size welt and my left has a slightly smaller one. I took an extra antihistamine and put itch cream on it. Super annoying. Luckily, I'm now at the monthly level so I don't go back until December.

We are home, Bradley plowed thru some pancakes and scrambled eggs, had ice cream for dessert, and now he and C are playing in the shower. So needless to say I think he’s feeling ok Thank y’all for the good wishes! So happy to have this behind us. O has been great during the day but the nights can be hard because he wakes up crying in pain. Just want to give u a heads up so you have medicine ready. Are you giving him Tylenol or something stronger? They gave us Hycet and we're doing that plus alternating Tylenol/motrin. For the first couple nights at least, I'm going to set alarms and wake up to give him meds. That was my friend's biggest piece of advice--stay ahead of the pain--so that is our plan

They said as long as the swelling doesn't go past my elbow or wrap all the way around my arm, it should be fine.

After speaking with the pedi, we decided to give H the prevnar booster again. I’ll have to remember to contact the immunologist in a couple of weeks so he can put the lab orders in to recheck his levels. I really hope this helps. When do you get to do it and how soon do they think it could help? We did it today. Blood work is recommended 30 days later.

Cass has an appointment at the salon this weekend. I'll be curious to see the update. vino it makes my heart giddy when kids cut their hair too after the initial horror. 😆 So glad your sweet and sassy girl got to be the queen she is today for her birthday.

I went out with a group of people for dinner tonight which was fun. I miss the kiddos but am making the best of adult time. There are some nice people here but I can tell I'm not going to have the connection with anyone like the people I did in my last course (a year later we're still in touch) which is kind of a bummer because that's the nice thing about these kinds of opportunities.

Hey, sorry I was MIA today. After I got the girls off to school I came home and cleaned my house until I had to leave to pick them up. Then we came home, ate lunch and then naps. I decided to go to Starbucks because they had their half price happy hour and the person in front of me paid for my drink. Score! It started snowing around 4pm and I think it stopped around 7 or 8. Not a lot of accumulation but it’s icy. I had to work tonight and I was training so I didn’t have down time there to get on my phone. After I got home I immediately started working on the dryer which isn’t heating again. I have taken it apart and put it back together 3 times now and I’m screwing something up because it makes a grinding sound when I turn it on. I was getting frustrated so I was going to leave it till tomorrow and try again then. Now I’m pooped and I’m going to bed. vino happy birthday to sweet J. I hope her day was wonderful. flamingo I’m glad surgery went well and I hope recovery goes smoothly.

Oh, I also had H’s conference today with her teacher. Apparently she’s a perfect angel there, eager to do everything and listens the first time her teacher says to do something. Too bad she can’t do that at home.

Just a thought if you haven't checked from the outside yet.

We were told no ibuprofen/Motrin for 2 weeks after surgery. Weird--they told us to use both tylenol and motrin, but no aspirin. We were also told no Motrin because it’s a blood thinner so O only got Tylenol.

Our Doc said O was too young for any kind of pain killer other than Tylenol. The hard part for us was after 3.5 hours he would start to be in a lot of pain before his next dose. Since you are able to alternate several meds, I’m sure B is gonna do great!

Also flamingo, our doc prescribed antibiotics as a precaution but i didn’t give it to him because taking any medicine is a battle. Did B get antibiotics too?
