I haven't done anything Halloween related and we don't plan on taking DD trick or treating since she's barely two and doesn't even understand what's going on (plus I can barely keep her regular clothes on, so I'm guessing a costume would be a huge no go). She also woke up at 4:45 this morning so I'm guessing we'll be having an early bed time.

Went trick or treating tonight, it's the most active I've been in the last 2 weeks. It felt really good to get out and do something.

We all went trick or treating tonight, I wore DD and she slept the whole time, and it was great! DS really got into it this year and it was SO fun watching him! I'm so glad I went and didn't stay home to pass out candy!

I hope I did the right thing...
DD fell asleep with me downstairs on the couch probably around 10-10:30. She was so passed out when I brought her upstairs that she allowed me to put her in her sleep sack and lay her down in her bassinet without waking. So I went with it! But I figured she'd wake within a couple hours to eat. She slept five more hours. When she woke, she only ate one side and was back out. At this point the other side has gone 6.5-7 hours without her nursing from it. I didn't want it to go any longer than that without any stimulation, so I went ahead and pumped. Hope I made the right choice and that she'll still be satisfied from that breast when she wakes in the morning.

I took both kids to trick or treat in a neighborhood about a mile from the house. DD loved it and DS slept the whole time. He's been sleeping so hard in the late afternoon/early evening. Today I have a follow up appointment with the birth center and taking both kids. My birth has been the talk of the center so I'm sure I'll be telling my story a few times today. I may also try to take DD to a dia de los muertos library event but we will see.
Oh and a friend made a meal train for me so I had two friends come by with spaghetti last night and have a few more people bringing food this next week. So helpful since I'm not getting any real help at home.

I did the same thing the other night when DD only ate one side when I thought she'd eat both. I was a little worried too but my boob was hurting so I had to pump for relief. There was plenty for her when she woke up in the morning.

For DS, if he last nursed right, I'd pump the left since if it hadn't been used in that long, and would have nursed the right again when he woke up. Nursing the left would have been fine too.

brenna, Nymeria I'm glad I was on the right track. I figured if she slept a few more hours that would be 10 hours that that breast wouldn't have been emptied. That seemed like too long.

If a meal makes me extra gassy, would that also effect DD? Today has been tough.
ETA - Kellymom says no.

I was thinking about selling my maternity clothes.... Most are from Old Navy and target. My jeans are from the loft. Most have been worn for two pregnancies. I have no clue, how much to offer the lot for. Has anyone Sold clothes before?

You definitely want to list them cheap. I know that when I buy used maternity clothes, I spend about $5 a shirt. I've spent $10 on dresses unless it's something very nice and new.

I ended up taking the kids to the mall yesterday. DD needed a place to run around and get energy out but it was kind of rainy and cold. I had to explain what a mall was to her because we never go. Lol! But it felt great to get out. I even got Starbucks, which I never do, some yummy treats from Carlos Bakery, finally got more foundation makeup (I ran out) and I even had success with the ring sling at a week old! It made me feel pretty awesome.

akwild I feel like most of the maternity clothes I see on FB Marketplace by me are a few dollars a piece. More for higher end brands or special occasions dresses and such.

I had my six week PP appt yesterday morning. All checked out well. But because I'm an overly emotional person in general, I've been having some feels about it. It's like the official end of the whole pregnancy journey. It makes me sad. I'm silly.
I am officially done with my injections 🎉 I did my last one on Thursday night. 319 injections in the belly.
I am looking forward to doing Mommy & Baby yoga soon! I paid for a full session of my last prenatal class, but only attended half of the classes before DD was born. So, the instructor rolls the remaining classes over to the mom and baby class.

Dd2 was up pretty much every two hours last night and took forever to go back to sleep each time. I'm not sure what was going on, but I hope it was just a one night thing. I am exhausted!

Thanks tbirdlove and pixiepink24. I think I’m just going to take some pictures and sell them as a lot on Facebook. I don’t want to deal with selling piece by piece. Hopefully someone will come take them out of my house.

akwildI also prefer to sell to local mom Facebook exchange groups and not the over all Facebook exchange. There are way too many scammers out there and people are very flaky. I feel like it's safer to do it that way or sell on Nextdoor..

DS slept from 930 to 5 (6 am bc of the time change)! I was hugely engorged so I put him in the RnP to pump after I fed him. He was so happy and content...probably because he blew out a diaper and his belly felt good. Everything went in the wash. Hes sleeping in my arms now. I forgot how crazy babies can be.

ftwr - I was just coming in here with a similar situation! Minus the blowout (so far....). Sorry about that part! DD just slept for like 9.5 hours 😱 My right boob was a very uncomfortable boulder. No way she can eat both of these things, so I'm gonna have to pump the left one. Her sleep is so unpredictable - last night she was up every 2-3 hours.

Congratulations on good sleep tbirdlove and ftwr! I CANNOT wait for longer stretches! The H has been more helpful in the middle of the night. But then I feel bad because he has to work.... right now the only one getting good sleep is the 3 year old. Which I am happy she doesn’t wake when P wakes.

We were up at 1:30, 4:30, and 6:30 last night/this morning. I can't wait until we go back to the one wake up that DD used to do. DD refuses to drink from a bottle so even though DH wants to help, he can't. We've tried so many things to try to get her to take a bottle but she just gags and spits it out 😥

All day I've been trying to get DD to catch up in emptying these boobs from how full they were this morning! Of course we were visiting family today so she slept a ton and ate less frequently than if we were home.
