So cute calendula. They remind me of Maggie Simpson in her snowsuit

Em just pulled Elle off the couch. 🤪I feel so anxious that something's wrong. We called the ped and they said to just watch her for two hours but ugh. Yikes this would be scary. I hope all is well ❤️

Zipadee zip update: I think it went well!! She woke at 11:30 and 3:30 but went down pretty easily afterwards. She didn't seem to have the crazy arms preventing her from winding down. I think this could work!!

D1 dropped the baby off the bed when she was about a month old. I hate that anxious worried feeling. Hope you both slept well and that she is fine.

Someone needs to teach my baby that she can sleep longer than 2-3 hours at night. 😴
And that's with being swaddled. I'm terrified how much our sleep is going to suck when she finally rolls and we have to transition out.

My kid is the opposite, her arms are fine, we’ve never swaddled them in (she HATED it) but if you don’t swaddle her legs as tight as humanly possible she sleeps like shit. Just kicks around all night.

I'm terrified how much our sleep is going to suck when she finally rolls and we have to transition out. I hope it happens for you soon. Right now we get one long stretch (4.5 to 5ish hours), 2.5 hours, 1 to 1.5 hours. After that we are either up at 5 am or get another 45 min stretch if we are lucky ( very infrequent). I know it is t enough night sleep but I don't know how to get him to sleep longer.

DH leaves for yet another cross-country work trip tomorrow. It's his third in the past 2-3 months, and he's getting as frustrated as I am with the frequency. It was super last-minute, too - literally up until today there was a chance it would fall through.
I'm just trying to hold it together. The baby has hit the age where he cares about when and where naps happen, but hasn't settled into much of rhythm yet. I hate the unpredictability, and I hate how much it throws off my mom "groove." This kind of thing really pushes me hard toward being done at two kids.

katietopaz ugh that’s crap. I am yet to do a solo bedtime but have no idea how I could at this point so my hat is off to you. I hear you on the two and maybe some part. Every rough day we have I cannot imagine having three.

We are in a hotel - H has planned some sort of birthday surprise for me tomorrow, that involved us driving part way there tonight. G does not do well falling asleep when we’re in the room so it’s 11:30 and he’s still struggling.
I’m excited for the day, I just do not want to deal with a cranky toddler all day either.
All I asked for, for my birthday was to not have to decide or plan anything. So far so good- he even brought us wine to have at the hotel.
