Day 33 done. I totally phoned it in and both kids pooped in the middle, but I did it. 🙄

Day 33 done. She was super annoying today, but I really liked the workout. I’m gonna be sore.
I did the hydrant moves with a 5 lb weight behind my knee and I tried with the donkey kicks too, but I couldn’t keep the weight from falling off. Am I doing this wrong?

Day 32 done. I don't get why she was so distracted by the windows of the office building next door. Yeah, you are in the city. The buildings are close together. I wish she had just closed the blinds. I was yelling at her because I’m almost positive that her hotel room has the glass that she can see out but the people in the office cannot see in.

I had to work really hard to keep the weights behind my knees, too. You are going to be hurting tomorrow.

I actually fit cardio in yesterday and felt a lot better. I think I’ll be able to do lower body after I get home tonight.
@juliagulia it’s been awhile since I’ve done donkey kicks, but I remember really having to hug my calf to my thigh to keep the dumbbell in place. It’s tricky for sure.

That doesn’t sound like I’m going to be walking tomorrow 😳 I had to keep my leg bent at an awkward angle for both exercises to keep the weight in place. I wish I had ankle weights to use instead! I was trying to think afterward if I could fashion something to tie a weight or somehow hook it to my leg but no luck so far..

Cardio done yesterday. With the kids 'helping'. It was not pretty.

I did day 34 x2 plus abs. I think I have bursitis in my left hip (again) though. I need to quit trying to do "the swirl" on that side bc I think that's what aggravated it.
I'm hoping that with ibuprofen and a rest day tomorrow I'll be able to start week 6 on Tuesday.
For donkey kicks and hydrants: I don't know if it's helpful to anyone else, but I don't stick the weight all the way back into the bend of my knee. I come out just slightly and then squeeze my calf muscle to hold it in place.

I took a rest day yesterday and just did day 27, so week 4 is done for me. I really pushed it and beat or met all of my scores from earlier in the week.
I'm both scared and excited to see what phase 2 will bring for me.

I just did day 32. Beat almost all of my scores because I knew what to expect. Can I brag on an NSV? MH finally was inspired by my commitment to eating better and working out. He went upstairs and exercised while I was working out just now. 3 days in a row for him, which is huge. I'm proud of both of us, although I will probably be hella mad at him in a month because the weight will just fall off him while I'm still killing myself to lose a pound. I figure I'm about 5-7 lb away from my husband jumping on the get fit train, which for him will mean not eating candy at night and instantly losing 20 pounds 🙄

@nellybluth yay for your H! I hear you about the weight just falling off though...mine is the same way. He is a lot more motivated than I am though...I will do my 30 minute workout and then he will do a two hour one. Sigh.
I haven't checked in for a bit but I have been keeping up. I finished 21 day fix friday and started clean week (another beach body workout) while I figure out what I am going to do next. I might do 21 day fix extreme though I am not sure how extreme I am feeling right now. The cardio workout I did today though was absolutely awesome. I worked really hard but it felt really good at the same time...as opposed to feeling like I am dying. So that is progress?

My NSV is that I'm wearing skinny jeans for the first time ever. I got a pair in a stitch fix this fall and H begged me to keep them. They were a little snug at the time but they fit great today 🙌

I skipped BBM today to try a yoga sculpt class at Core Power Yoga. I was intimidated AF and H laughed when I told him I was nervous because he said I would be fine. I don’t do group exercise much at all and I get so afraid to try new things.
Well, I have to bow down to Brianna and BBM because I killed it. I did things I never would have been able to do 4 months ago. I was confident and it felt so good. That’s my NSV! I can do new things now. I am in shape enough to try new stuff. 😄

Done with 6.0 day 29. That upper body workout was no joke. My arms are going to fall off.

I skipped yesterday so I'm behind. I did legs today and had to use day 33 from 5.0 again because the FB videos wouldn't work for me.
I also did the plank extravaganza abs workout for week 4. Not a fan.

Did day 34, cardio + the recovery video from the Surge series. Both felt good, but the recovery was especially good.

I got hit with a stomach virus this weekend. Because of course. I'm resting today to make sure I'm fine. But I'm starting back tomorrow!

I did days 34 and 36 today. I liked the cardio much better the second time. And the new upper body is good.

I ended up taking the weekend off, so I did leg day today. 35? I don't know the number. Back in the saddle.

I don't know how some of you work out while sick. Maybe I always get man colds, but just going upstairs tires me out when I'm sick. I'm very behind this week.

I did 34 and 36 today, expecting one of them to be legs, but itnwas cardio and arms again. I guess I skipped 33? I like doing 2 of them (cardio and strength) for one days workout and now I'm thrown off my schedule.
Anyone else think those windmill things were impossible? They hurt my back and I was barley beding over, no where near touching the ground.
