What games do you have for him? He plays the Endless Alphabet ones, and then there are a couple of Peppa Pig ones that he likes. Also puzzle apps and one called Busy Shapes that is problem solving But...right now he is obsessed with this game that is simulated animal fights. He likes to see which animals can beat (kill 😕) each other. I blame my H for taking him to the Natural Science Museum and watching a video about predators! Yea M is obsessed with dinosaur videos and which dinosaur is the biggest and can kill the others.. But insists they're not mean and wants one for a pet.

H heard back from the HR at the company he has been talking to. They received all the information from the background check company and emailed him to ask the discrepancy in what HE stated he made at his current job and what his paycheck stub states. He was pretty pissed they questioned it. He told them he fat fingered when he was typing, but he's now wondering if they will question his character because they think he lied. I told him that's stupid...they should only be concerned that he was employed with who he stated, not what his payrate was. He didn't want them to contact his current employer, but if they would have, they would not have known what his current payrate is. I think he's going to email them today and check the status because he had told them he would turn his notice in on 1/2 and start with them 1/15, but now everything is a week delayed because of this background check. I thought it was illegal for them to ask what his pay was. Here it is. They can only ask dates of employment. And soon they can’t even ask you in an interview what you are currently making.

Lol. Except me yesterday. #lazysnowday But you're not doing it every day. There are literally parents out there that do this every day and never really interact with their kid. KWIM? Totally. I was just laughing at the timing of it.

I have to destroy my credit card. Someone used it to purchase drinks on southwest airlines a couple days ago. How does that even happen since I have my card on me?

Re games; both kids like the peekaboo games and sago mini. We also have some animated pictures books they like. They don’t use them that often tough, since we don’t own a tablet and I don’t want them to ruin my phone 😉.

Morning from the office, the glorious office! No children are whining about commercials from the other room or trying to nap on me while I work. I had to brave disgustingly low temps to get here, but it was all worth it. So Colin has peed the bed now 3 nights in a row, after only having 2 accidents in the preceding 2+ weeks. This morning he claimed he peed while awake, but I'm not sure if he was just messing with me or what. We're going to start carefully monitoring his fluid intake before bedtime but I'm worried we'll have to put him back in pull-ups. And on another note, Chase's room is in the coldest corner of our house. Usually it's only actually a 2-3 degree difference but his room was 62 this morning thanks to how cold it go overnight. DH is very blase about the whole thing but it's driving me nuts. That same corner on the 1st floor is our powder room and it's even worse. It's embarrassing when we have guests over!

Probably depends on the state. Here they can ask you salary history. Well, the company looking at hiring him is based in Texas. I've been asked what my salary history is, but no one has ever verified it. Besides, isn't part of seeking a new job, getting a pay increase? I'm surprised they even asked him about the discrepancy.

joelies , Cadence drank all the drinks last night and I kept telling her to stop. She went several times during storytime to the bathroom for a "sip" of water. I told mh she was def. going to wet the bed. I made her pee twice before bed and was paranoid about it. She woke up dry. The night before, no fluids, peed twice, peed the bed. There is no rhyme or reason I feel like, other than maybe warm in the bed, cold in the room, not getting out of bed to pee because they would rater stay warm in the bed. Either way, I highly recommend the pad trtlcrzy sent me the link to a week or so ago. Saved us from having to wash ALL the sheets, we just had to wash the pad. I'm surprised SW would allow someone to tell them the card number for a purchase instead of requesting the actual card to process payment. It's not like I can walk into Target and say 'oh, I don't have the card, but here are my numbers....'

Sick day, it's -8 degrees outside, I don't feel well, I have a ton of shit to do around the house... there's going to be more TV. It's not every day though and I really don't think much of it.

Just put "~" in front of a number when they ask for salary. Then they can't be all "you said this much"...no, I said APPROXIMATELY that much.

We're going to start carefully monitoring his fluid intake before bedtime but I'm worried we'll have to put him back in pull-ups. This is actually what prompted us to ditch pull-ups (I guess it was this time last year-ish?) He would stay dry all night but would wake up and immediately pee, because he could. I'm going to knock on all the wood but I can't even remember the last MOTN accident he had. But when we first made the switch, it always seemed like he would have a couple in a row, then go a big block without any. IDK why that was the pattern, but it was. No one asked for my opinion, but I'd stay the course, if I were you...sounds like he was having some success so just keep an eye on what he's drinking before bedtime and keep at it (we are militant about the potty at bedtime, too...he goes before his bath, and then again right before bed--and bed is maybe 30 min. after start of bath). I think the switching back and forth b/n undies and pull-ups could be confusing. eta: I also have a pad like the one klong11 rec'ed up-thread. It was a lifesaver during those first few weeks of training.

Get a space heater for his room! That’s how the girls’ room is. It could be why he keeps waking at night, he’s cold.

It doesn’t cover the whole width of the bed but it worked fine because for the most part H stays in one place. ETA: a little tip because this screwed me once: put the top of it under the pillows a little bit. One night H laid just at the top edge so it went over the top and onto the sheets.

The maintenance guy that stole my heater is here. So I turned mine off and now I'm shivering. I just walked by the conference room he's using and he's got a space heater! Oh hell no. Mine is on full blast now. Try to take it jack ass.

I got the 34x52, it covers the width of the bed and I have it where her lower half normally is in the bed. Cadence is in a full size bed. ETA: tag wedding

Hey ladies! S stayed in her bed all night last night!! She woke up a couple times but we held strong and didn’t get her out until this morning. Hopeful for day 2 success at nap and bedtime tonight. In regards to screen time, we keep the tv on all the time basically. But hat doesn’t mean the girls are actively watching all the time. S and I are currently in their room where she’s cooking in the kitchen and feeding her baby (can’t see the tv from here). It’s mostly background noise. H gets her kindle during quiet time for an hour most days, school days she doesn’t get it.

We also have him go before the bath and immediately before bed, but he's been chugging water at dinner lately. Our house feels so dry, so I get it, but we're going to have to be more militant.
