My Ob told me something like 80% of women who have tubal ligation done, regret it. I laughed and told her I would not be part of that percentage. So yes, talk to your doctor and think it through. It is very difficult to reverse, if you ever wanted to. My only concern is a heard your periods can be terrible after. Do you find that at all? I definitely won't regret the no more kids part. So I kind of laughed at this...I had been on birth control since I was 18, until I decided to get pregnant, which took 5 months, so I don't really remember my period beforehand. I do remember them being pretty heavy in my teen years. So I don't know that I can compare. Yes, it seems heavier than when I was on birth control. But they also fluctuate quite a bit a month. Like two months in a row, not bad, then one month, pretty bad. I don't really know what to expect anymore!

I kept Josie home again today bc her voice is pretty much gone and she's coughing this blustery cough. No fever all day, so I was guessing she's good to go tomorrow, so of course she's spiked a 101 fever now. Oh shit. Hopefully she feels better soon.

Ggandlee doesn’t think it’s a UTI, based solely on what I told her. I just wish I knew what was going on and I’m worried daycare will tell me to stop bringing her. I'm glad you reached out to her. Does she have any other ideas? I can't imagine she's contagious if H has only been sick once or twice since she's been like this. Did/could they check her for a dairy allergy or maybe a gluten one?

I think it'll be an early bedtime tonight!

The dr said the symptoms don’t sound like an allergy. I’m not going to rule it out, but based on what I’ve told him, he doesn’t think that’s what it is. Ggandlee said it could be reflux but she hasn’t gotten back to me after I answered some of her questions. She’s probably sleeping. Lol.

I called the dr and she does not have a UTI. I did ask how long it normally takes for the results trtlcrzy, & they said it just depends. Sometimes it may take a couple days.

C1 just got over it and C2 has it now. C1 had a fever on and off for about six days.

Hopefully, she's fever free before then I hope the boys are feeling better!

tgrimes humph about the UTI. I one time had a nurse call me a few days later and my sample turned out to be a UTI.. so it can take a few days. My sis recently got a negative on a rapid strep test but positive on the 3 day culture. Hope you get some answers soon.

M has a fever, 101. And is complaining that his ears hurt so I'm keeping both home with me tomorrow. J is super congested and snotty so might as well keep the germs at home. Of course I invited sil, brother and nephews over for dinner tonight. So hopefully it's just his ears and nothing contagious.

N also complained her ear hurt tonight and she felt a little warm. She must not feel well because she didn’t complain about going to bed while h got to stay up and play with his friend who was over. She’s sort of a goodie two shoes and doesn’t want to mis preschool in the morning so I told her she needs to get a good night sleep so she feels better. We’ll see what morning brings

Team no socks, especially during sex. It has to be cold as balls for me to wear socks to bed. wineallthetime glad everything is ok with babe! When I worked on a L&D unit people had elective tubals all the time. It doesn't add a whole lot of time in the OR since they already have you in there and open. Maybe 10-15 mins. klong11 I'm sorry your appt didn't go well. You don't feel well, I wish he had taken you seriously. Keep advocating for yourself! vino glad your first day back went smoothly! tgrimes poor M! I'm sure you are so frustrated with all of this.

I got to workout for the first time in weeks. It was fun to do a swim workout and not have to watch E. Also nice not to deal with bedtime.

vino, thanks for thinking of us. We got N’s progress report yesterday, tomorrow is interviews. Tuesday he didn’t cry at drop off and then today the principal was there and told DH to leave and N had a fit... she’s not helping! I’m so frustrated.

@cheeksmam aw I’m sorry! You’d think that people who work with kids would be more considered.

cheeksmum I will say that usually, it is best for the parent to bolt quickly. But obviously that’s not working for N. I hope y’all can work out a better solution in the interviews.
