Well, I hope not. I woke up with a sore throat, headache, and run down. Can I get a flu shot like this? Our flu clinic is tomorrow at work and I was planning to get one.

Morning! I got up early today. Normally Adam does morning stuff and I sleep but he was banging around and yelling at the kids so I got up. But we are out of coffee 😩😩😩
I’m having lunch with carter and getting him books at the school book fair this afternoon. And Work. Exciting stuff. BUT have a girls night tomorrow. Seeing Bad Moms and having dinner. I can’t wait!

We went out for SIL's 15th birthday last night. She got to pick the restaurant, Red Lobster *gag* I didn't like it before I went vegetarian and now, it's even worse. I had 4 biscuits, a salad and 2 bites of the grossest alfredo ever. Before we ordered I was waiting on the server so I could ask what a good option was and GMIL asked what I was getting and I explained that I had to ask her since I don't eat meat. She very seriously said "but seafood isn't meat"I just blank stared at her waiting for the joke. She was serious. So I clarified "I don't eat animals" Again she tells me "seafood isn't animals" Wut. THEY HAVE EYES! So I said "I don't eat the flesh of anything that breathes"
I got the boys mac and cheese and oranges. She asked where their meat was and I said they don't like it much so I didn't get them any. So she spent the entire meal trying to force the boys to eat shrimp. Much to her dismay, they refused.

Morning. Ordered tons of presents for the kids this morning, books, winter boots, Melissa and Doug playfood and a playstand. Looking for pyjamas now to add. Ds has decided that he’s done with wearable blankets and he wants to wear real pyjamas. He woke up feeling like an icicle last couple of mornings... we tuck him in, central heating is on, any thoughts?

Morning! We are trying to let S CIO for MOTN wake ups so H slept in our bed last night. And that means I got to sleep on one foot of mattress most of the night.

I think it takes some practice for them to keep blankets on, especially when they’ve never had to do it before. I do fleece footie pajamas in the winter. And if the room is really cold I do a space heater.

wedding I hope you feel better! From vaccines.gov: If you are sick with a fever, you should wait until your fever is gone before getting a flu shot. However, you can get a flu shot if you have a respiratory illness without a fever, or if you have another mild illness. So sounds like you're okay to get it! melaniesue If I lived close, I'd bring you coffee. A morning without coffee sounds pretty fucking miserable! nam2013 I don't worry much about E getting cold at night. She's in long sleeves and long pants, she has a blanket if she kicks it off and wants to put it back on. But my kid seems to run warm naturally. yummeecookee, I hope C gets over this bug FAST!

Morning. Chase has slept soundly for the last 2 nights, so my only issue is that DH is a major blanket thief when sick. He's not nearly as whiny about being sick as usual though, so I really can't complain too much.
The cape and mask sets I ordered as party favors were supposed to arrive no later than yesterday, and of course aside from a single set that arrived a month ago, there's no sign of them. They show on Amazon as delivered because of that one, but I contacted the seller immediately about it so at least it's all documented. I'm waiting on a response today before asking for a full refund and reordering via prime. They're a bit more expensive but I'm running out of options with Colin's party being in 4 days.

He woke up feeling like an icicle last couple of mornings... we tuck him in, central heating is on, any thoughts? we have a small fuzzy blanket that he uses during the summer. It often gets tangled or not on him. During the winter I use a full comforter with the fuzzy one either on top or underneath, depends on that evenings request. The comforter seems to stay on through the night if he doesn't roll around too much before falling asleep. We don't tuck the comforter between the mattresses but that might help.

Morning! Feel better wedding yummeecookee Hope C is on the mend soon! I’m sitting in the driveway with Dunkin’ while C car-naps. I need to go get a couple things from Bed Bath and Beyond but need to run inside and doublecheck a measurement before we go. Oh, and I should probably change her out of her pjs 😳 I did put a bow in her hair for school drop-off though Today B has sports class after soon so I get an extra hour. The best.

Morning! Both kids stayed in their beds again🙌🙌. J claims he hates his bed though, so that's a bit if an issue - I don't think he enjoys sharing his room. I do feel a little bad, but that's life kid. We ran to DD this am to get a gift card for a coworker and j didn't get a treat bc he would not get ready for school. I had him walk to the car in socks and no coat. Hopefully he shapes up bc I am hoping to take both kids to CFA for dinner solo since MH has a hh and we have zero groceries.

I just had an ob appointment. It was a bit concerning because they couldn't find a heartbeat. I've never had that happen, especially at 15.5 weeks. They ended up doing an ultrasound and thankfully all is well.

C kept us up with a cough last night and MH called me when I got to work that L is covered in some sort of spots/rash. Pretty sure it's a reaction to her vaccine she had yesterday. Luckily my FIL could go watch her so I didn't have to leave work.
