How old are they? My boys had bunk beds (DS and DSS). It was great! DS1 is 5.5, DS2 is 3.5, & DS3 is 2 There is no ladder, so that makes it both safer for DS3 and a bit more challenging for DS1. *snip* How cute! DS1 should be okay with the top bunk at that age. My boys didn’t really start doing stupid stuff with the bunk beds until they were older (Once DSS hit 11 and DS was 13)

mrspiatt for multiple nights in a row now I've had the same thoughts about H's breathing. He keeps inching to the middle of our KING bed and breathing in my face. Bro, stop. Just stop breathing, okay? Lol. I'm sorry you aren't getting the day you wanted.

I decided I’m not doing anything productive while he’s gone. I’m not doing laundry or running errands, nada... Nope, not going to happen. Sorry you’re dealing with the same shit.

Also, good morning! It is H's bday today. I made waffles and lattes. Not much else planned for today; H didn't have anything in mind.
The Melting Pot was so good, but I definitely ate too much. And I am pretty sure I was having real contractions. They died down after an hour, but they are occasionally happening this morning. Not timetable, though.

mrspiatt, thatgolfb, I "joke" with DH that the only time I truly wanted to kill him was because he was breathing/snoring on me when I was super pregnant with DS1. I thought about smothering him with a pillow. As we now have a second child, I clearly let him live. Sleep deprivation does crazy things to a person lol. DS2's bug bite looked better as per my hypochondriac mom and DH, so we are skipping the doctor for now. DS1 clusterfed from 9:30pm-1:30am but then did a 3 hour stretch of sleep. I think I heard a chorus of angels instead of him fussing when he woke up at 4:30am looking for my boob. My nips are sore, but his belly is full and he let me go back to sleep earlier too. I put a comparison picture together of him and DS1 -- DS1 is so much smaller lol. DS2 has almost a pound on him and looks like it. I'm so excited for the rest of the November babies to arrive and then we can have a wine night! My MIL brought me a bottle, but I'm way too tired still.

I’m more worried that every friend who has posted about a broken arm in their elementary aged kid has been from falling out of their bunk at night. 😕

You know what isn't fun? Hacking up a lung while recovering from a c-section. I'm at that stage of my cold where I have a productive cough, and so much pain with every cough! Luckily the Ibuprofen helps, I just need to remember to stay on top of it. Ugh- I’m sorry sorry lady. Are you taking Mucinex? It won’t stop the coughing, but it’ll definitely help get everything out faster. Is it safe for breastfeeding? Medications always seem like such a grey area when I Google.

The only thing my doctor warned me about was that it may slightly reduce my production, but I never noticed a decrease.

grumpycat I keep forgetting I can drink again! Probably shouldn't on the pain meds, but even if I wasn't taking any I think I would still be too tired also!

So H just texted... he’s not feelings by very confident. He only answered 40 of the 50 questions on the first test. They give you 12 minutes. He did say he felt good about the answers he did give. He’s stressing me out... lol

We decided to head to lunch and then the zoo. It is hovering around 75 degrees so the weather is nice, which is good because it is supposed to be in the 90s again soon. 😒

Our passes just expired last month, but we tried to visit both parks as much as we could. I have niece stationed at Coronado (recently deployed), so we’d always fit in a visit with her too.

So I just talked to my dad and made the mistake of telling him my RSC is 11/14... he now plans on stopping by the hospital and bringing his gf... I’ve never met this woman. I haven’t met any of the previous 6. I don’t want people there. I’ll either hope he forgets or if I happen to talk to him again before then, I’ll tell him not to bring her.

Just look for the elephants. I'm sure delivery techniques for quadrupeds and humans are basically the same.

It is our go to weekend destination! Sometimes the safari park, but there isn't free parking and it is more of a drive. The season passes are so worth it. We usually just go for a couple hours and can take our time!

I’m headed out to dinner with a friend tonight...attempting to put together a cute outfit for this sexy 37 week pregnant bod. At least I get to use one of my nice bags...they never get any use when I’m out with DD.
Now I just need to stay awake.

Well we went to the zoo and it was fun, but the moving walkway that goes from the (downhill) far end of the zoo back up the front/top was closed. So. I had to do a lot of unexpected uphill walking. My pelvis and back are dunzo (throwback to Laguna Beach).
I am also quite swollen. 😬
We are heading home and I will be resting for while.

Except I don’t even think I’ll have mesh underwear yet- I’ll have a freaking catheter in. Why do people think you want to see them, let alone meet them, shortly after having a baby? Even now, almost 1 week later, o don't want to see people I barely know (or new ones). Don't they understand how private birth / medical procedures are?
