I slept terribly last night. I use the term sleep very loosely... I need to go we, but way too tired to get up.

I slept horribly too. I always do. I finally sleep from about 4:00 on but then husband's alarm goes off at 5:30 and then I'm up. So annoying.
But tonight is ladies wing night. And you can bet I'll be there. I'm excited. I've missed the last two that my friend has planned but I'm going tonight.

AnnPerkins, paging for advice. I started itching last night pretty badly all over. It hasn't really stopped this morning. Would you call now or wait until my appointment Monday to mention it? I'm kind of freaked from dr. Google. Thanks in advance 😁

H said he had an extra adderall in his pocket yesterday morning and realized at work it wasn’t there... so it may be on my floor, or in the car, or outside somewhere or at his work. I’m really only concerned about my floor. I haven’t found it, but that doesn’t mean it’s not here. I don’t think DD2 would eat it with out telling me first, but she’s 2 and sometimes really likes to be sneaky. We’re also not done unpacking so j have boxes in almost every room.

mrspiatt, do you have time to vacuum? Might give you a little piece of mind. Sorry for the scare.

mrspiatt, do you have time to vacuum? Might give you a little piece of mind. Sorry for the scare. I vacuumed what I could yesterday, but because we have boxes around (some are way too heavy for me to move), I can’t get everything. I did my best to use an attachment to get between and around them though. I would just feel so much better if I just found it.

Sorry to all the ladies who slept poorly. Boooo. Hope your days improve from here!
I have no idea why places which routinely ask for urine tests don't have somewhere to put the cups when you're done and need to get up. The hell, guys.

I'm kind of freaked from dr. Google. Thanks in advance 😁 Do you have a visible rash? Are topical remedies helping the itch? Is your pee darker than normal? I would call now just in case. It's a very simple blood test and it would ease my mind to know asap rather than a week from now. FX it's nothing, though! Also, who do I contact to get a badge that reads, "Ann Perkins: Unqualified Itching Expert"?

BP good, NST good, waiting on bloodwork. I might be out of here nice and early! I will have to be sure to make excellent use of my free time at home. By which I mean sit on the couch and eat all day.
Someone remind me on Saturday that it's stupid hot in here and I should dress appropriately. I am sweating and all I have on is a tank top, skirt, and leggings.

Yes my skin in certain spots looks irritated and somewhat red from the pores. Idk how else to describe it. I think I'll call after I get dd to mil this afternoon at 1 after her school. I don't want them to think I'm crazy but also don't want to be worried all weekend about baby.

Holy shit. I just sent a feeler text out to all the friends I had on my list to help with the kids if my mom wasn't here yet and everyone if fucking busy or OoT. Which means the baby will definitely be here before my mom is on Sunday. Cue possibly unnecessary panic.

catmom88, a rash is actually a good thing! Does your skin feel raised anywhere?

So much clusterfeeding last night. I'm so tired. DS2 kept falling asleep at the boob and was very hard to wake up until I unlatched him and put him down. So it resulted in a louder than usual evening and less sleep for everyone in my house. He was more awake this morning and latched well so we both got a bit more sleep. I will be sleeping when he sleeps today lol.
DS1 is starting to come around. I was feeding DS2 and he came in the room told me to give that (ds2) to dh. I said that I could not do that because he was eating. DS1 said oh and gave me a side hug. This morning ds1 brought his baby doll downstairs and put it in the rock n play. I'm so glad he's starting to make some progress.

Still call, who cares if they think your crazy. You've earned the right to be and they can deal with it.

I'm so glad he's starting to make some progress. Is there a book you can read to him while you nurse? Or a special toy he can have while you are nursing? Anyway to help him feel included that he may enjoy? DS1 used to love helping get diapers and throwing them away when DS2 came along. DS2 was a whole different story when DS3 came along because he was still nursing and wanted to nurse all day.

misskilljoy, and AnnPerkins, Not raised, more under the skin. I'm also wondering if it could have something to do with me getting my flu shot on Monday. I have never had any issues in the past but you never know being pregnant and all. The incision site was where my itching started. Makes me feel better that irritated and red is good though.

So this baby is absolutely coming then when we have zero people to take DD and all the grandparents will miss the birth. That's how the universe works, right?

Not to throw universe juju out there or whatever but when DS1 was born, it was the very day my in-laws left for a 4 day trip to DC. Pretty typical. I don't think anyone is going on trip anytime soon in our circle but my mom, who is choice #1 for DS, is out of town a lot lately working on getting my grandma into a nursing home. I have already resigned myself to the fact that this baby will come when no one is available and we'll have to bring him with to the hospital.

AnnPerkins FX baby stays put until your mom gets into town! misskilljoy I’m so glad all of your tests are looking good! Are you still being induced on Saturday?

Yeah, my OB is nervous about the BP readings at home and the slowly increasing protein in my urine so he doesn't think it's worth the risk to let it go another week. Figures that at 38 weeks, it's safer to deliver than to keep going hoping nothing escalates.

Hi everyone. I had a semi-decent night of sleep but woke up with a sore throat. No other symptoms and it’s not bad enough to keep me home from work, just enough to make me slightly more miserable. Happy Thursday!

I know our neighbors would take her but it's not ideal and I think Ellie would struggle with it. There's no way she could do overnight with them.

I'm free! The on-call OB clearly disagrees with me being induced at all but I just quietly nodded along and answered his questions politely. He told me Saturday shouldn't be too bad for being busy because they don't schedule elective C/S those days, so watch everyone in the city go into labour Saturday AM. Then he shrugged and said, "I guess you could just go into labour, too."
Who are you? Why are you the worst? I am thankful he won't be the doc on call on Saturday, geez.
