Days 31 & 32 done. Those lateral raises w/ 8 lbs suck!! Also, fuck this week's cardio.

Just finished Day 29 and 33 (upper and lower body strength routines). I will do cardio tomorrow.
Can someone TTMA deadlifts? They did not feel challenging at all. I used my lighter weights today, do I need to increase weight for those?

I did day 32, despite my internet being crazy so it took twice as long. I love this workout.
@rocknroll I wish I could answer your question but I've had a lot of wine so I'm fuzzy on what deadlifts are at the moment. But you're awesome.

@rocknroll it’s been a while but I remember years ago when I did personal training I could deadlift a lot more weight than I could curl, for example. If it was easy I would feel comfortable upping the weight.

Lord Disick I just want to commiserate for a moment. For the past month I have made probably the greatest effort ever to eat well and take care of myself and the scale is going in the opposite direction and my clothes still don’t fit. I just keep telling myself it is going to take a really long time to undo all the damage I did this summer too. Free fries Friday at McDonald’s was apparently not my friend. Who knew?

I used 15 lb weights for deadlifts (and most of the lower body moves)...I feel like I am stronger in that area and wasn't feeling a challenge with lighter. I might even ramp it up a little today. If I am going to make myself do these workouts, I want to feel challenged.

I didn't workout yesterday. I had worked a 12 hr shift Thursday night and wasn't able to sleep more than 2 hours yesterday morning. Too tired. But I did days 31 and 32 today. Will double up again tomorrow.
Also,
Fuck cardio.
Fuck reverse flys.

I am behind. I couldn’t do anything yesterday with my UTI. Feeling much better today so I’ll either double up today or tomorrow. I also am a week behind in my C25k but I’m not thinking of that right now.

Ok, I did day 32 and 33. First time doubling up and it wasn’t too bad. Mostly because no cardio was involved.
I liked the leg workout. Those donkey kicks and hydrants are no joke but that’s good. I used a 25 lb kettle ball for the dead lifts based on the comments above and I felt that.

I did day 33 at the gym, so I had access to weights heavier than 8. I mostly used 12's. And I did the circuit 3 times. free babysitting at the gym is a nice incentive to keep working out! I also walked 20 min on the treadmill.
My legs & ass already hate me.

I had some rare weekend alone time, so I charged ahead and did day 36 and 37 (upper and lower strength from week 6). I think the movements seemed a lot more awkward today....but maybe that is just because I am awkward. Either way, it was a tough workout and I think I am going to be super sore tomorrow.
Sunday will definitely be a rest day. Some stretching and some walking, but that is it.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far.

MH just pointed out that my headache was likely triggered by working out so late last night. My neck did feel jacked up afterwards, and I know I didn't drink enough water post workout because I wasn't awake too long after I did it. My neck being tight triggers tension headaches which spiral into migraines. I haven't had one that bad in a long time.
Lesson learned.

33 done. She threw me off when she said something about having done cardio yesterday, so I went back to check that I was doing them in the right order and I was. Yesterday (32) was upper strength, don't confuse me, lady!
On my first rep of those fire hydrants I tipped right over with a loud thud. My balance is not great, but they certainly felt effective once I got the hang of them.

I have similar issues with my neck and headaches and they've sabotaged many a good workout routine. I'm trying to be extra careful but I'm working out a weird kink right now that gave me some serious (but not migraine) headaches in the past week. I forgot what we were talking about now because I'm drunk.
