I did the fit test. My knee is still a little funky feeling but it didn't hurt at all, so that's a win.
Speed Squats 47 (+5, +11) High knees 124 (+14, +40 Pushups 3+20 modified (1reg/25 mod, 24mod) Squat jumps 24 (+3, +5) Triceps dips 23 (+1, +8) Burpees 7 (no change, +2 but all were modified on day 1) Lunges 18 (+2, +2) Plank 30 sec regular + 20 modified (no change, +8 sec reg)
I'm down approx 4 lb, 0.5 in from bust, 1in from waist, 2 inch from belly, 0.5 in from hips.

I did the Fit Test yesterday and improved on everything, I believe. I'm also down 5/6 lbs since last Fit Test, around 13lbs since we started. I still have 10lbs to get to the point where I can even fit in my clothes and then I'll focus on just vain weight loss but I'm feeling like I will get there. I'm thankful these workouts are only 20 min because otherwise I would never get them in.
Fit Test 3 Speed squats: 48 (40/38) High knees: 168 (111/143) Push-ups: 15 unmodified (26/26 modified) Squat jumps: 27 (30/24) Tricep dips: 43 (23/31) Burpees: 13 (8/10) Alt lunges: 21 (19/16) Elbow plank: 75 seconds (40/60)

Day 31 done. And it made me sweat. It was fun to try to outdo my number from the prior round though.
Fake jump rope: 149 Burpee/leg lift: 12 Sprint in place: 165 Mt climber: 130 Squat jump: 24 Fake jump rope: 159 Burpee/leg lift: 15 Sprint in place: 179 Mt climber: 136 Squat jump: 31

I doubled up day 32 and 33 this morning. I need to get ahead a little because I am going out of town next week and I don't want to get too far behind.
It was tough, but combining upper and lower body strength was totally doable (although I was a sweaty mess when it was done)
Feeling good about things today, but I think I am going to be really sore tomorrow because I was pushing myself with some heavy weights.

Can a 3 mile run replace her cardio? I'm so tired from running and am currently beyond annoyed with my husband and I just can't get the energy to do this. It probably would make me feel better if I did.

Lord Disick hey the summer is behind you and you're doing good work now! Fx the next weigh-in you see a difference I'm not weighing or measuring because pregnant, but I'm hoping to see improvement in my numbers of reps. brewcitygal I'm replacing the cardio days in my challenge with a "run". My challenge is more low key, but also my "running" is pathetic. Do you feel like it's an equal workout for you?

I legit think MH is trying to sabotage me. He bought a bag of pb cups and pb m&ms, which he knows are my fucking weakness.
I won't eat them out of spite. I'll eat my fucking luna bar and give him the stinkeye.

Day 34 is complete.
As much as I curse her during this week's format of cardio, I think it is a good workout and I can tell I am working different things than my normal steady state cardio I was doing before. But man, that second set of jump squats burns like a motherfucker.
Rounded it out with some sprint intervals outside and a 2-mile walk/jog cool down before stretching it out at home.
So glad it is Friday. I am fired up and ready to rock this day. And sleep in tomorrow.

I did Day 31 last night, right after eating dinner which was a foolish thing to do. It's a good workout, but it was hard. I'm looking forward to upper body today.

Why do I always procrastinate? I did yesterday's lower body workout literally at the 11th hour last night just before DH got home from work.(he worked till 11) But I did it and I'm going to do better today and do my upper body workout right now.

It probably would make me feel better if I did. I say yes to this. I feel like cardio is cardio. It gets your heart rate up, which is the point. I've been doing this as well, I don't usually double up on cardio if I run.
I do see the value in doubling up on strength days, so I try to pair a strength workout with the BBM strength days.

I didn't plan my day well yesterday and ran out of time to work out. I'm really excited to jump back in today, though, so I'm going to make it happen.
I'll probably just skip the fit test this time. I'm sure with how long I've been sick I haven't improved at all since last time.

I was this close to skipping today but came here for inspiration and I am going to get to it. You guys are amazing. I would definitely not be able to do this alone.
Just a side note I occasionally also get these Facebook friends who are doing some sort of clean eating shake thing and I just can’t. I don’t want my weight loss journey to be so public it’s so not me. I so appreciate having this “private” place where my IRL friends are not.

Day 9 done. Didn’t do great. Now know what burpees are and wish I didn’t. I feel like I did a few million jumping jacks today because in addition to this my kid kept making me do them 10 at a time with him. He’d say, “again!” After each 10.
In addition to day 10 I’m hoping to also get a run in tomorrow. It’s supposed to be a beautiful day.
