GL with the fit tests everyone. My challenge doesn't have them. I did an upper body workout today and I need to figure out how to do pushups with a belly in the way. I have to modify majorly(oops that not a word?) And pretty soon I'm not gonna be able to drop down onto my belly in between. Guess I'll just have to build muscle really fast!? Also my new workout shirt:(mine is actually a tank)

Ah thank you, I'd forgotten about doing them against the wall. Yes I can do those 😊

I just did Day 29. I was lazy yesterday and skipped it. I will try to do the fit test later as well so I'm caught back up. I love the upper body workouts. I'd be happy to do those everyday and ever cardio, lol. I was using 5lb weights before except for shoulder and tricep exercises I was using 3lb weights. So today I did 5 pounds for those and I haven't bought new weights since it's not in the budget so I held both my 5 and 2 pounds weights for 7lbs for all the other moves. It was a bit awkward but it works for now.

I was very close to buying a workout tank that says "everything hurts and I'm dying" but I can get better quality tanks for less somewhere else, so I skipped it.

I was going to do the fit test this morning but my clumsy butt missed a step last night and fell down the last 3ish steps landing on my left knee. It doesn't hurt terribly bad, but just enough to know it's there with some movements. So I may be taking a rest day today.... I'll see how it feels later. Ouch! I hope a rest day or two helps!

I improved on almost everything since the first fit test (I was dying of a mancold for the last one and skipped it). I think I was much more focused on form this time so I was down a few reps on the lunges and burpees. I think I'll weigh myself tomorrow.

Fit test done. I had some improvement in everything except push-ups (-2, modified), burpees (-1), and I didn't even attempt the plank because my kid wouldn't stop crawling on me. I'm disgustingly sweaty.
The scale hasn't really budged but i can tell that I've lost inches. And I'm much tighter.

Did the fit test this morning. I am down 4.6lb since day 1. I didn't do measurements but I definitely see my stomach shrinking. I feel so much stronger and it is so much easier to do small things that I never realized shouldn't have been difficult to do in the first place (like you know... squat down, bend over, etc). I don't feel like an old person, basically.
My improvements- Speed squats +11 High knees +24 (Idk though my form wasn't great tbh) Pushups +1 (modified) Squat jumps +1 Tricep dips +6 Burpees +1, and none modified this time! Alt lunges +1 Elbow plank 1 min (also moved to non-modified)
I also had to pause and take a little longer than a 10 second break to prevent death, so.

I’m really grateful for all of you as well. I know I just started but I probably would be making a lot more excuses and this is keeping me going.
I ate poorly today...I teach a professional development course and there are snacks. I have a policy against denying myself free snacks so that included essentially a whole meal. I did day 8 tonight and had a protein shake so things are looking a bit better.
Hockey starts tomorrow so we will be going to the garden...Past experience has told me these are not healthy nights. Not to mention leaving right after work so no time to work out. Long weekend coming up though so I can fit in everything then at least.
I’m sorry, I know you all don’t need a play by play of my life but it helps me to put things here to hold myself accountable.

Fit test done. I just compared to day 15 for all my stats:
Speed squats: +11 High knees: +14 Push-ups: +2 Squat jumps: + 3 Triceps dips: I skipped these. I needed to stop and breathe. Lol Burpees: +4 Alt lunges: +8 Elbow plank: full 60 seconds, no mods
I am also down 3.25 inches, mostly from my legs and hips.

Fit test done after I ran 2 miles.
My knees were giving out with the speed squats and the lunges, but I got it done.
I was about the same on everything, except better with pushups and the plank.
Measurements wise, I was down almost 2 inches in my thighs and an inch in my upper arms. Waist was the same.
Weight is still slowly moving down.

This weeks cardio can FRO. The 5 min straight was tough, but its the repetition that I really hate. I like being done with a move forever once its over (or you know, for a day or 2) and knowing I have to do it again fills me with dread.
It went by quick enough though. But I did skip the cool down, cause I woke up too late and my kid is stirring.
Eta I don't think CD2 is helping either

When she does super sets, I do them differently because I hate them and if I hate what I'm doing, I quit. Maybe add up the total time for each move and do it at once like the last phase? Still do the five minutes straight, but instead of 5 moves, do 2.5 moves for each 5 minute set.

I didn't do day 30 or abs yesterday. My parents are out of town and I'm running their business and there was a crisis. I'm really annoyed with their employees and myself for not staying up late to get it done. I'll get it in today.

I did the fit test yesterday, along with another workout. I meant to bring my stats into work with me so I could post them but forgot. I made improvement by a 1-2 reps on everything. On high knees I made a huge improvement, which makes me wonder if I miss counted last time.
I slept through my alarm this morning so no workout for me today. We have DD1's open house at school tonight and I just don't think it's happening later.

I'm meeting friends tonight, so I'll do the fit test tomorrow.
My biggest problem area is my belly, and I haven't noticed improvement there yet, but this morning I definitely could see some more definition in my arms and that made me really excited!

Warning: tl;dr pity party ahead. I weighed myself and cried this morning. I haven't been on a scale since April (when my toddler wouldn't stand on the scale at the Dr so I had to hold him) and I was up five lbs from that even though that was fully clothed in the middle of the day. I did whole 30 last month too so I'm just overwhelmed by how much I let myself slide this summer. I feel so gross and sad and frustrated, but I did Day 31 and her stupid pep talk helped a little as did working my butt off. Now I'm crying again.
