My feet have been SO ITCHY the last two nights. I wish I could figure out my trigger to more consistently control this.
I'm also in desperate need of a pedicure and a good buffing.

I'm getting my last pregnancy pedicure in a little while. DD requested I get sparkly red polish, which is what I got five days before I went into labor with DS... It's our seventh anniversary today!

Have you talked with your doctor about this? Itching can be a sign of a pregnancy complication called intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy. I know a few people who had it and have healthy babies. I would mention it to your doctor.

I feel awful. Cold. Stomach ache. Headaches. Thank goodness my son just got on the bus and my husband took our daughter with him for a bit to work. He had to haul some grain in the semi so he took her with. I'm chilling on the couch. Trying to muster up some strength to make tea.

This news about Last Vegas is hurting my heart. Sitting in the Costco parking lot (got here a little after 9:30, forgot they don't open until ten. Oops) and should probably just turn the radio off.

I have an OB appointment today. Not sure what all she will do given my shit from last week. Everything has been good since about last Wednesday or Thursday so hopefully we'll just keep on keepin' on. I did have a lot of contractions yesterday but it seems better today so far. I need to remember to ask about my shots though. I have two left in my vial, which would be 33w and 34w shots. They only give them up to 36w which means I would only have one shot out of a new vial. I am hoping we can just call it quits after the 34w (I will actually be 34w4d) shot. My regular OB said it was probably ok but I need a definite answer and I won't see him until 35w6d, so definitely too late. I think I will ask the OB I am seeing today to check with him and let me know. I don't want to pay $175 for one shot.
I am also in desperate need of a pedicure but with DS1 I got one at 34w and had him a few days later. So clearly I am a bit leery of it. I told H just this morning that if this baby stays in until 35w I am getting one though. He can come anytime he wants after 35 weeks and I would be fine with it. My receptionist is trying to jinx me by dreaming that I went into labor. Woman, keep that nasty juju to yourself. NO baby before 35 weeks please.

DD1 has a f/u appointment with her pedi today. Then I have to go gather some supplies to make her first birthday decorations. I work a night shift tonight so hoping to get a lot of the decorations done tonight.

I went a bit crazy and cleaned every corner of the 1st floor. Now I want to do the 2nd floor but there's no way in help I have the energy left. I'm right with you librarylady. I had to step away from the news.

roloma, same here with the shots. My nurse thinks we'll be able to squeeze one more out of it to get me to 36wks. DNW to pay for a full vial when I only need one. And since I'm being induced the next week, I might even just see if we can stop at 35wks if there's not enough.

TMI alert
I just went to the bathroom and looked down to see so.much.blood.
Thankfully (or un-thankfully, really) it's coming from my hemorrhoids, not my vag.
Still, I had a mild heart attack.
Can't sit down now, so that's fun. I had em so so bad with ds3, I almost considered surgery. I was hoping to skate by this time around but no sir.

I waited until today (35 weeks) on purpose to get mine done. It's a milestone- I can have the babies locally from here on out!!

And since I'm being induced the next week, I might even just see if we can stop at 35wks if there's not enough. My OB already said most of the time if the most recent vial is out during the 34 weeks, he will typically be ok with stopping then. But in the same breath he also said we would see how I was doing before we made the decision. It really is a toss up what they will decide to do. Obviously, I will do whatever they suggest but I am fine with baby coming anytime after 35 weeks so I don't necessarily see the point in getting one more shot in at 35w4d. It isn't like my body will even really realize the shot is gone until after I don't get it. Plus, I am starting to get long lasting itchiness at the injection sites now and it really sucks. It was still itchy yesterday and I got my shot last Wednesday. I read that you can develop a sensitivity to the sesame oil after so long, so I figure that's what is happening.

Holy crap quinn! How scary. I have pretty bad hemorrhoids right now but I probably would have died right there if they bled like that. I hope your butt gives you some relief and you can sit again soon!

I checked FB when pregsomnia struck at 3am this morning, and my cousin had posted she was safe (she was at a different venue). So I've been obsessed with watching the coverage since. I'm really struggling with thoughts of bringing a baby into this world. I weirdly have numerous friends down there now. TW...... My sorority sister's husband was shot in the knee. We don't have much more information at this time. .........End TW.

Mine's been itchy for months. Itchy is just my natural state while pregnant. Rubbing alcohol or Neosporin on the injection site kind of help.

It has to be even scarier when you know someone directly affected fancy. paperbagliz Happy Anniversary! roloma I found out I was allergic to sesame oil when going through IVF. They ended up having to switch me to olive oil. Nothing really helped the itchiness/welts either but some hydrocortisone took the edge off. Hopefully you won't need the additional shots after 34 weeks. Lol so real catmom88! Feel better cdnfarmgirl!
