Have you talked with your doctor about this? Itching can be a sign of a pregnancy complication called intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy. I know a few people who had it and have healthy babies. I would mention it to your doctor. Diagnosed about a month ago and I'm on meds for it. But I like where your head is at. I am glad that you have the diagnosis. Sorry for not realizing...I have sucked at keeping up lately.

TMI alert I just went to the bathroom and looked down to see so.much.blood. Thankfully (or un-thankfully, really) it's coming from my hemorrhoids, not my vag. Still, I had a mild heart attack. Can't sit down now, so that's fun. I had em so so bad with ds3, I almost considered surgery. I was hoping to skate by this time around but no sir. Oh, that would have been so scary! The other night I was peeing and thought I heard a pop that reminded me of my water breaking. I peed a lot so it scared me for a second.

I saw the commercial for that self-cleaning toilet. I think I'm in love. I told H I want all 3 replaced in the house for my birthday but they're too expensive.
My life is so pathetic.

I'm getting my last pregnancy pedicure in a little while. DD requested I get sparkly red polish, which is what I got five days before I went into labor with DS... It's our seventh anniversary today! Add me to the needs a pedicure list! Happy anniversary! I need a pedicure badly too

My water has never broke on it's own. That's scary though.

My water clearly broke with my daughter. I remember hearing a pop. The outer layer broke for my son. It was a little fluid but stopped. It was enough to start the contractions.

I have a gift card for a massage/spa. When should I go? What should I have done?
They have a mom package the would be a prenatal massage and pedicure. Then another massage and facial after the baby. I can customize it too.

AnnPerkins I'm sorry that even that itches. Poor thing. Only a handful of weeks left and then sweet relief! quinn, I was sleeping when my water broke so I didn't hear the "pop" but I definitely felt it and it woke me up so I'm sure there was a sound with it. laurensc927 I haven't really had issues with the sesame oil until the last two weeks. I'm pretty sure my body is just becoming intolerant to it since so much is being injected. I love sesame oil in my food so it better go away or not affect my ability to eat it!

I still will use sesame oil in my food, when they asked if I was allergic I said no but I'm not usually ingesting so much on a daily basis (I put maybe a tbsp in my stirfry once a week lol).

I scheduled a pedicure for this Thursday - didn't even think about it but I will be exactly 35 weeks at that time.
On a different note - Friday evening I had horrible cramping. I don't know if I would call them contractions and they definitely weren't timeable at all (in fact, they seemed to spread out and get more intense as the time went on - it started with lighter cramps every couple of minutes and then spread out from there) but it lasted for 4.5 hours - 2.5 really intense and then the last 2 hours were like every 30 minutes or so. They got so bad that I would let out a yell and had to stop everything (if I was sitting, I just basically gripped my chair and tensed and if I was standing, I bent over or grabbed onto something like a counter or a dresser). I have no idea what it was and I really hope it doesn't happen again. I'm going to mention it to my OB on Friday.

I also need a pedicure. Maybe I'll try for one next week. I'll be 36 weeks. Not that I think it will work. But it will be nice to have one.

My water did not make a sound when it broke that I remember. My favorite part was that I had just asked the nurse to use the bathroom (was induced and on IV so needed help getting around). Got back to the bed and my water broke - minutes later. I called the nurse in and she asked me if I wet myself. I reminded her that I just went, so she agreed to check and was surprised when I was right. I felt better - when she suggested I had wet myself, I thought I was going crazy!!

paperbagliz, happy anniversary! fancy, I hope he heals well. it's so scary. I hate people touching my feet, so no pedicures for me! I did not hear anything pop when my water broke, but I felt a pop. I had lightening crotch for like 2 hours last night so I'm quite tired. This kid likes to get nice and low at night.

The pictures and stories coming out of Las Vegas are just heartbreaking. Listening to the first responders and reporters being interviewed on NPR...they all sound like they are in shock.

On a happier note, I had my ultrasound with the high risk OB, and my placenta is far enough away that I don't need to be scheduled for a CS! It was the first time in a long time that I left the doctors office feeling good.

I did not hear mine and I was focused on trying to figure out if I was leaking or peeing when mine exploded. If it made a noise I should have been able to hear it.

I also need a pedicure. To the point where I spent 30 minutes attempting just to clip my own nails last week. I botched a few pretty badly.
The Vegas thing is so but wrenching. I can't believe this is the world my children will know. It's so heart breaking.

As for when babies come, my doctors will not stop labor once you hit 35w. I don't anticipate going that early, but they make it clear that they consider 35w their point of no return with labor.
