I have been lucky though that in every pregnancy my leg hair stops growing completely. MUST BE NICE! I am debating doing one more ladyparts wax, to keep it from becoming a total jungle, since I'm certainly not going in right after I give birth.

ICP doesn't necessarily have to be in hands and feet. If you feel pretty itchy might want to get tested. only at night though. Does that make a difference? I'll keep an eye on it and call my OB if necessary. My next appointment isn't until next Friday. Mine is worse at night, but it is also annoying throughout the day.

Long hair, don't care? Is this an appropriate time to use that phrase? Not like DH has been down there either. At least MWs are all a little bit hippie, so it won't bother them, right?

quinn, I've been super itchy lately too. Mine is PUPPP but thankfully didn't spread from my belly and upper thighs this time. It's worse at night for sure. Add me to the club of not having done any tending to my unkempt bush in a while. I can't be bothered. We aren't doing anything sexy. Eh.

The ice cream truck needs to stop coming around. The other kids in the neighborhood got ice cream and ds had just thrown his utensils/has been a mess all day so he did not get any. Tantrum ensues. Sigh.

Heart palpitations like crazy today. I develop weird but benign heart things when pregnant, like palpitations and a heart murmur. I am over it. 4.5 weeks.

thatgolfb, I haven't done anything below the belt in about a month and have no plans to going forward. Sorry in advance, delivery team. I gave up once I started showing since sex was no longer on the table. No shame.

I am going to ask about this today. I have heard so many conflicting things from people in my area. With DS1 they made it clear that since my water broke and I was past 34w they would induce immediately. But I know other people who were in labor at 34-35 weeks and they attempted to stop labor until 36w. Not sure what the "official" stance is. Probably good to know. I would probably request they not stop it after 35w though. Quoting myself here. I asked and at my OB office they do not stop labor for anything after 34 weeks. She said between 34 and 35 weeks they will probably still give steroid shots but they won't intervene in labor and will induce if necessary. I suppose this is why every seems so super casual with me since I will be 34 weeks on Saturday. Who cares at this point, right? Yeah, I don't if there's a real standard but that's just my office's philosophy on the situation. It's good information to know.

Mine didn't manifest as a rash this time, just raised spots on my belly that look like blemishes or hives and only in a few places. It's gross and annoying. Last time I had a rash on my belly but my hands and feet, which were brutally itchy, had no rash to speak of.

Like breaks fully, not just leaks? A friend of mine had her water break at 29 weeks (with twins) ans they delivered those babies immediately. Said there's a risk of infection.

Yes, that's a little different. I mean natural contraction labor I guess. Though my office also isn't hard and fast on the 24 hour rule either, obvious by my 33 hours of labor after my water broke. And zero rush on their end the entire time.

SHIT. I am reclining in my chair, drinking water, and closing my eyes for half an hour. I will check again. Fuck you, body. This is not L&D worthy (they want you to come in if systolic is 160+ or diastolic is 100+) but it is total bullshit after it was 110/70 a week ago.

Right there with you girl. Though I haven’t had bleeding in a few weeks. I did have to take a walk around the house one night to get things moving though. I just upped my colace to 4/day from 2/day after talking to my NP. It seems to have helped keep things moving, but this sucks. DS3 was so low for so long and mine were so bad I went in for a surgical consult too. We opted out because I was 34-35w and she said it could send me into labor. I couldn’t sit and needed help getting up. I had to work from home for the remainder of my pregnancy because of it. I’m hoping that just like with DS3 they literally go away after I deliver. how long after delivery did yours go away? Mine took about 2-3 weeks but omg it felt like forever! It was the worst part of my postpartum healing. It feels like before we left the hospital. Though I was warned it could go away once the pressure was no longer there or I could end up with a bouquet. 😳

thatgolfb, I haven't done anything below the belt in about a month and have no plans to going forward. Sorry in advance, delivery team. I decided just to wax brows today. No Brazilian. The waxer will hate me when I come in after months of neglect but oh well! I honestly was too lazy to take off my pants...

When my water broke there was a very audible popping sound. But, extra fluid. Also, MOTN so no other interfering sounds.

you that package sounds awesome!
Yay for good news bazi!
I have a pedicure scheduled for next week (33 weeks) you all have me nervous to get it now lol. My coworker brought me back a 5 guys milkshake and I drank the whole thing. It was delicious but I am soooo full now. Omg I want a milkshake. But also I've been craving biscuits and gravy. Specifically from Bob Evans. Of which there are none in California, and likely not this side of the Mississippi at all. So that is convenient. Lol. I will be adding it to my meal plan for next week. I definitely had a mani pedi around 36 or 37 weeks last time and it did nothing to cause labor, so don't feel nervous!

I'm sitting on your bench. I thought about a wax but I've never done it before and I'm not about to start now I'm here too. Last time I shaved, baby burrowed into my cervix and kicked at me the whole time. I can't see it and I don't care at this point. I read somewhere that they don't want you shaving too close to delivery because it can increase chance of an infection but I have nothing to back that up at the moment. *shrugs* I waxed pretty close last time and no infection, but I could understand that. I just didn't want the itchy growing in hair that close to the date this time. I got a wax like 6 weeks ago and that is as close as it is going to get, lol.

Sigh. I saw a thing on Buzzfeed about lies parents tell their kids and one was that the ice cream truck plays music when it runs out of ice cream. 😂

I don't even care about it being waxed, I just needed the hair to be shorter. You are all welcome for that in depth analysis of my bush.

I had a pedicure at 40 weeks last time hoping it might put me into labor ... no luck. Same for spicy food and long walks.

Hot showers make it worse, cool water sometimes helps. Oatmeal baths were awesome last time, haven't tried it this time.
