So J had his horrible screaming cries again tonight from about 430-9. He did take 2 short naps in that period but man that crying scream is rough.
I think I did something wrong too. Ivebtalked to a million people and last night i switched to hypoallergenic formula to see if that will help j. Well some people say I need to tell my doctor asap. Thoughts? It's expensive but if it works I'm willing to buy it but if I shouldn't have switched now I am worried I will make things worse.

Also I love pumpkin and apples for fall. Unfortunately I've had no time to bake with either this year due to mommihood. Maybe when my parents come to town Friday I can get in the kitchen.
The only thing I hate about fall is when it gets too cold

king26 I thought about getting special formula in hopes it would help D. with her bad cramps too (but then my milk supply finally went up and we no longer used formula to supplement) and I don't think I would have called to tell the dr right away either.. prolly more like ask for advice if the new stuff didnt make a difference either. Tho I may be doing things the wrong order as well who knows.. Did those people tell you why they felt you should tell your dr asap? I am sorry though that the new formula doesn't seem to make a difference (yet?). I too can handle no sleep and what not better when D isnt crying her screamy wailing cry.. it is the worst and I am sorry you have been dealing with Js so much. That is so rough!

So our MOTN session was endless and I hoped that she would sleep in a little. But nope she was awake again an hour later π I let her fiddle around for a little while since she seemed content enough, in hopes she d fall back asleep but thay didnt happen. She hadnt pooped yesterday (go figure since I just wrote about her daily pooping marathons earlier hah) but then this am filled 3 daipers to the brim so I think her tummy may have been bothering her some. She is now happily drinking, MH has fallen asleep next to me already again - he slept thru most if the MOTN stuff too.. no clue now he does that! - and I hope that D will sleep another cple hours minimim after feeding cause I am t eeling ridiculously tired today

What I love about fall.. The changing colors and all the leaves on the ground, and the crunchy sound they make under your boots. The crisp air and fresh autumny scent outside (and the good memories this always brings back). Sunny autumn days. Being outdoors. Hot tea and speculaasjes (cookies with spices similar to pumpkin spice). Being able to wrap up in comfi outfits and warm socks again.
Not so much: the autumn storms and heavy rain we always get this time of year. The clock change from daylight savings back to winter time, it always messes me up for a good cple weeks at least. The fact it gets dark earlier and earlier (tho once I get used to it again I do enjoy the cosyness of pulled curtains and soft lights and candles).

My H can sleep through feedings most times as weel Once I put her back in her bassinet it was like 10am so too late really to go back to sleep. I'm trying hard to give some semblance of a normal adult rhytm to my life again LOL. So I hopped into the shower real quick, knowing MH was with her and hopefully they'd both sleep a little longer. When I came out again MH had picked her up as she had a bad case of the hickups again (I effing hate the hickups! they are such a pain to deal with as they keep interupting her sleep), then she pooped her pants, then ended up crying for a bit.. But she has fallen asleep again 10 minutes ago after having been rocked by MH, so ... fx!

king26 I went apple picking yesterday and would love the link to check out some recipes! I love apple picking though only actually went ONCE and that was ten years ago heh. We have a some fruit trees in the backyard now, and we had a small haul of very yummie apples this year - they're all gone already though. Last year I baked my very first apple pie ever using apples from the garden, that was so neat. We also had pears but this year they all got blown off the tree in a bad storm before they were ripe

Hezzi-dsbooksandcooks.com is my blog.
Well tonight has been hit or miss. J screamed earlier while we were u but not during his motn feedings which I prefer. However he has only been sleeping for an hour at a time so I'm getting like 40 minutes at a time.
Poor DH thinks he has food poisoning. He's been in the bathroom like 5 timed. I feel bad for him so I've left him sleep while I feed j.
I think J hates the new formula sobi gave him back the old stuff.
I need to go back to newborn diapers too. He keeps peeing out of the damn size 1 diapers I think they are too big .

muscari j gets the hiccups all the time too. They are such a pain and hard to get rid of. She gets then several times a day, usually shortly after we put her in bed. Tho occasionally also at random while with us.. just before she was in the carrier and got them. Beats me what causes it. I googled and read that reflux or temp changes could cause them so we preheat her bed with a hotwater bottle but that doesnt seem to make a difference as she still gets them - tho it seems to be happening more often when we forget to preheat? She does give back a little bit at times but not often so i don't think she s got reflux issues..

Ahh thanks for the link king26! Gonne check it out, fun! Most our nights are hit and miss too.. ditto for mornings afternoons and evenings lol.. everytime i think we got some sort of rhytm (even if it has a standard deviation of 2h) she changes it right up! Why do you think J doesnt like the new formula? And that is a shame would there be a way to get samples of different kinds of formula to try out before buying a new kind?

Ohh and I am sorry YH isn't feeling well. I hope whatever it is that makes him feel off is short lived..
We were using the smallest size pampers but started using a different brand as they were so big on her.

MH lost his reading glasses late last week. He really needs them so bought some prefab ones but they give him a headache.. So we are off to the opticien to get him new ones. First real outing with D, not counting pedi and dentist. I am a little nervous!

Good morning! P slept from 11-6, nursed, fell back asleep and is still sleeping. I was able to go back to sleep too for a bit but iβve been laying in bed for the last 45 minutes waiting for her to wake up. muscari P gets the hiccups a lot too. Their digestive systems are still maturing, so itβs pretty common.

Man I am friggin exhausted from our trip to the mall! D. did absolutely awesome, she fell asleep in the car on the way there, briefly woke at the opticien but I rocked her back asleep and she slept till we got home. Nursing now and I am secretly hoping she will nap after and I am gonne lay down myself as well. So so so tired. But we had a lovely time π Went and "window shopped" a little, checking out for a new tv (which MH has been talking about for ages now but I don't see the necessity lol) and we even grabbed a bit to eat. At the KFC but hey tis the thought that counts (and the food was good so... π). I really wanted a sub from Subways but it was packed and I felt too nervous about D. waking up so didn't have the patience for that long a line!

muscari Glad your outing went well. I haven't done the mall, but we went to a friend's son's first bday party at a farm yesterday and baby H did great. I am going to go to a group exercise program Wednesday, stroller strides, which is an hour of exercise with baby in the stroller outside. I'm nervous that he's going to fuss or want to nurse in the middle of it and that everyone else will be more fit than me, lol!! It's in the 50s and 60s here. Do you guys think baby H would be warm enough in a fleece sleeper and blanket? Walmart has some buntings, which are twice as thick as a sleeper, but I don't want him to overheat. He tends to run cold though, and I'm worried since we'll be outside for an hour. I'm leaning towards getting the bunting but can't decide.

What's a bunting?
Speaking of being cold- how do you dress your babies? The last couple of days and hands and feet and cheeks have been cold and I can't figure out how to make him warmer. His body is lukewarm but not toasty. I put socks on his feet under his footie onesie and put an extra blanket on him when he naps on the swing but I can't do that when he's in his crib or pnp... do I need thicker onesie footies or do I layer more like with a tshirt onesie and then a footie over it? What about his hands? The older size clothing doesn't seem to have the hand coverings.

king26 It is recommended to switch formula brands gradually. Iβm not sure if there is an allergy, if itβd be done quicker - but, usually youβd mix the old and new for awhile until they transitioned to the new. Iβm not sure about telling the doctor like itβs an emergency, but I guess I would have waited for their recommendation. Itβs hard though, since no one else knows exactly what youβre going through.

Yeah we are dealing with cold hands too but not sure how to fix that.
Poor M, we are headed back to the pedi at 2:15 today. I got nervous because her cough sounds worse to me like more congested in the chest and she has spit up twice from coughing. I don't know how you tell the difference between vomiting and spitting up? It seemed to happen when she was coughing ugh
