So D woke up again after just 40 minutes boo just when I was heading to the bathroom. But on the positive: MH came home an hour earlier then expected so he could look after her while I got dressed and make us lunch. And we won't have to stress to be at our appointment in time like we had to last Friday when we had a double dentist appointment.

Is everyone else's LO who is between 5 and 7 weeks already tracking with eyes and socially smiling? Baby H is 6 weeks in Wednesday, and he isn't doing either. I don't remember DS1 doing either till more like 8 weeks, but it's making me a little nervous.

He's sometimes tracks with his eyes, but he doesn't always make eye contact.

She's been tracking with her eyes a little longer than that.

thinkchocolate05, I guess D. is quick with some of her milestones as she started social smiling a couple days ago (she's 5 weeks on Wednesday) and has been tracking with her eyes a few days longer already. Every baby is different though so I'm sure even though H isn't doing either yet he will soon? Edited to add: also, she was born at 40+6 so that may make a difference as well? At least WW goes by due date to time leaps etc so..

They'll be 7 weeks tomorrow. I wouldn't worry.

I'm confused though- I thought I read smiling on purpose didn't happen for several more weeks?? ETA: I read it can happen between 6-12weeks of Life... so I wouldn't worry yet!

Hi ladies, sorry been MIA, things have been busy with birthdays and family stuff. I'm sorry everyone is having a rough go of things. This shit is hard. I'm exhausted from constantly wearing her, holding or feeding. I hope your appts went well muscari and king26I do want to say that the thing that is tricky with them switching from boob to bottle is the bottle is much less work than the boob so that could explain why your LOs seem like they prefer that. It's likely your supply is not the problem. Of course you will know more after your appts! FX they are gaining well! M sleeps next to our bed in the RnP and started socially smiling at almost 5 weeks and tracking here and there. She is 6 weeks today
