Thanks muscari and addymac and @easilyunamused! I survived but don't know how I did yet. I don't feel great about it but at least it's over. I still have to survive one more class and then I can go home. Really hoping M naps this afternoon so I can too! She did not have a great sleep night last night. addymac, thanks so much for all the stuff you sent me for this class!

Maybe that is why tapa stopped working for me 6h ago!? Tho proboards also gave time outs and errors earlier while on the website so... ugh.

addymac that really sucks. DH was in residency with DS1 and I remember those rotations all too well. I moved into the living room (we were in a 1 bedroom) with DS when DH had those types of rotations, even though he was initially against it. Hopefully you guys can come to an agreement where you both can get some rest.

So we are taking J to the doctor because of him spitting up and then vomiting last night. I hope he's ok. I'm sure he is but we'll go see just in case. Hope it's nothing serious! Please keep us posted.

The twins slept through the night last night. I'm fairly certain it won't happen again any time soon.

I am feeling good today. I only had about 5 1/2 hours of sleep but I got a 2 1/2 hour chunk and a 2 hour chunk which really help. J has been up for 1 hour, sleeping for 1 hour all morning which is new but I'll take it!! I've managed to get a recipe created, baked, and photographed and I swept the floors! Plus DH and I had lunch together, alone, for the first time in forever. He is currently in the basement working on stuff too. I know it won't last (does it ever?) but it's been 2 decent days of naps in a row. Plus, J has only spit up once so far today. I think the new bottles are helping and maybe the more frequent but less food at feedings. addymac, One major spit up last night and one minor one this morning so not too bad! I'm trying to follow what the pedi told us and DH no longer wants to feed him extra formula. I'm glad yesterday was ok for you but I'd be a little ticked if a friend told me she was brining lunch but didn't show up until 2! Plus yeah, take a hint! Glad the test is over cali, and I hope you get a nap in today! YAY for both of them sleeping through the night happyfeet9 It may not happen again soon but take it when you can!

king26 what bottles did your pedi recommend? D spits up from time to time and I'm wondering if switching bottles would help.

This is definitely random. For those of you that pump, do you do it hands free? The LC at the hospital have me the worlds beat advice. Insteax of buyinf an expensobe hands free pumping bra sje told.me to take.an old sports bra and cut 2 holes.in the cuos.and put the pump parts there. I bought a cheap $5 sports bra at Wal-Mart and have been using it hands free since ingot home from the hospital. Just thought I'd share because in Love my 15 minutes of hands free pumping because I read a book.while doing it.

So after my complaining of my horrible night last night she ended up sleeping 11:30-4:45 and then again till like 7:30 so I guess I did get sleep. So why am I sooooooo exhausted?! She is completely cranky and fussy all of her waking hours besides when eating or sleeping. She will give the occasional smile at least. I'm so sad I don't want another colicky baby. I really hope it's just the first leap 😢

It works when you have something to help cup it, otherwise it isn't that great of a trick but it helps soooo much kellymom.com/bf/pumpingmoms/pumping/hands-free-pumping/

Omg this kid is gonna make me not sleep tonight.
I put him on his back and of course he is now side sleeping. I know in reality if he can do it, he should be fine. Plus his arms are out. However, I already peaked over to check on him a millions and even tried to move him to his back.
My DS1 never really had the chance to side sleep so early at night since he slept in RNP.

My MIL arrived today (here til Friday) and I am so over it already. I like her, we get along fine, but ugh. I'm ready to be on my own for a few days without a constant (grand) parent around. I hate having to be "on" all the time- constantly talking, constantly interacting, constantly waiting on her. I made her lunch (and mine). I told her he was still hungry but "1 month olds don't eat 5oz!" Uhm, our fatty does.... and then she got him to fall asleep around 6p- and he slept til 10p! Like what! He's not going sleep all night now! Omg 😣 And then I fell asleep, after we discussed dinner would be pasta with meat sauce and she said she would cook it- I woke up at 9pm and no dinner was made!! I was like what? And she said "well I had no idea where to start, so I figured I'd wait for you." ARE YOU KIDDING MEEEEE?? And DH was on call at work so he didn't get home til after 10pm today. Like. 😣😤😒

Man I am beat. D went down for the night around midnight but was super fussy since 3am. It is now 8am and endless boob sessions and daiper changes later she finally fell asleep. I think maybe her tummy was bothering her, not cramps perse maybe like gas?, as she farted like whoa and had 2 big blowouts the past hour. Gonne pump then hopefully get some snooze myself. Sooooo tired.

T used to naturally roll slightly to her side since birth. Not full side, but she would have preferred belly - and, she was swaddled. The issue with them being put on the belly is that they might sleep too soundly -not sure the side sleeping poses the same risk.

So J slept that 4 hour stretch and we have been paying for it ever since. He went down for 45 minutes after that and then 30 minutes but now won't sleep. After a good start it was such a rough night
Also, J always rolls to his side when we put him down. The doctor says as long as wenput him down on his back and he rolls to side on his own then it's fine to sleep like that.
Also j is so.stuffy. what can I do about it? I tried getting shot out with the bulb but it isn't working

addymac I would be so annoyed. Ughhh. P didn't sleep as well last night as she's been sleeping, i'm thinking because she took a big nap right before we went up to bed. She's also been super gassy this morning, spitting up a lot and even projectile vomited. I'm hoping it's just a one-off thing.
