How long do your babies sleep for at night? I feel like a little you have babies that sleep a long time. J will.sometimes sleep 2.5 or 3 hours one time bit then the rest Of his sleep is 1.5 hours or less during the night . Then it's a minimum of 1 hour to get him back him sleep buy normally 1.5 hours. We've been swaddling him arms in which he hates but he will sleep longer that way. I know he is young and everyone says sleep gets better by 6 weeks so I'm hoping. Also, when do they lose the startle reflex? I think that is half his problem I could have written this king26 except H has grown to hate the swaddle and likes to sleep with his arms and legs spread out. We get a 3 hr stretch at the beginning of the night and then about 1.5 hr stretches after, except he's super restless/awake between 3-6am and it's hard to get him back down. I tend to fall asleep with him in the rocker at that point, which isn't good. I really hope we start getting some of these 5 hr stretches people have mentioned!! I am you and you are me. Almost the exact same sleeping pattern. My friend seems to think that it isn't "normal" for him to have broken sleep like that, but idk what I can do differently.

Glad you and YH talked cali. It's hard to find the right dynamic with your SO after baby comes. I'm definitely the main person taking care of the baby and it's wearing on me. But I have to suck it up, because I knew that going into this.

What does she think is normal sleep for a 6 week old? Broken sleep is their mantra lol

Lol and I think she was thinking it wasn't normal to not have a reason for the wake ups? I'm not sure, we were only just texting so I could've been mistaken.

M is killing me this evening. She is either crying, ripping my boob off, cluster feeding or dozing in 5-10 min increments. I foresee no sleep tonite.
