So within 10 minutes of being our friends I messed up and made a judgey faces at our friend, with regards to her premie 3.5 month old. I try so so hard just to let people make the choices of what's best for their kids and their families. She was told by a health care professional that the things she was doing weren't recommend and instead of siding with her I sided with the health care person. I feel like such a jerk because I made her feel crappy. We are not very close but are part of the same group of couples that hang out. On the plus side I had a delicious cupcake for dessert.

Update #2: DH ordered Longhorn's to go and they accidentally gave us two breads. YAS!!

seventythree Sounds frustrating, I think we are life twins today. H woke up with a man cold and we had a fight this morning too. Add that to the stress of pregnancy and all the feelings that come along with your parents not being around and your IL's being who they are, it can be difficult. I hope your day gets better and you can work something out to get some rest.

I did nap while DD napped, and H went to her when she woke (I didn't even hear) so I got to rest a little longer, and that helped. He even snapped out of his funk this afternoon, though we had a rough evening and bedtime and he's back to being pissy. I mean, I get it, I'm tired too... but it's not my fault any more than it is his, and I hate feeling like we're not on the same team. Think I'm just going to read and go to bed early tonight. Luckily DD is going over to the ILs for a few hours tomorrow morning, so that will be a nice break for everyone.

I hope so, because that is my plan! I checked the ones we have left over from DD and none are cracked/damaged, so I don't see why we can't reuse them. Same for most of the bottle nipples, really. I know all the packages say "replace after 3 months" or whatever, but unless they are actually damaged I think that's just a scam to get you to buy more.

I should probably put this in the symptoms thread but has anyone else experienced a weird sensation on their bra line, just under your boobs? That entire area feels like it is asleep, if that makes sense. I can't figure out what's causing it and it's super uncomfortable 😣

In my 76 weeks of ever being pregnant, this is the first time I've cried over food.

Epidural Cath is place but capped. I have super low platelets during preg. so they placed it now while they still can. Same thing happened with DS1.

Happy weekend all! So excited about all the baby news, yet also feeling a sense of urgency to get more things done! So far I've vacuumed the entire apartment, swept the kitchen floor, cleaned the kitchen, and cleaned 1 of 2 bathrooms while DS took his bath tonight. The nesting is real. We're also having company over for lunch after church tomorrow, so that might've thrown me in to cleaning mode as well. I ache, but feel so accomplished! Now celebrating with chocolate.

Also, I heard back from my doctor's office yesterday regarding my GBS test, and it was negative! I was positive with DS, so needed the antibiotics via IV before delivery. So happy to be able to skip that part this time!

Yes - prunes or prune juice will take care of constipation...just don't overdo it or you might have regrets...I almost crapped my pants post partum from drinking a glass of prune juice at the hospital. 😬

August Blooms Don't feel bad for siding with the medical professionals. I know so many ppl that make unsafe and stupid parenting decisions. Just because you push out a baby doesn't mean you are suddenly omniscient or even semi-intelligent when it comes to raising the kid. I feel like some people have that attitude to justify their terrible decisions, and I'm just like 🙄

arimaythea, love the outfit! So cute! gosh! I really need to jump on getting DS' yoda hat started but it so hot here that the thought of holding a knitting needle and yarn is not appealing. #sweatyhands. Also cannot believe it's fall weather for some of you already. I swear we only have 2 seasons here. Winter and summer 😅 I miss fall in the north east and all the varieties of apples that we can't get here.

Meet B.enjamin H.enry. we are so, so in love.

Born at 3:22am, 5lbs 13 oz, via emergency c section. He is doing FANTASTIC in the NICU. Like, awesome. No breathing assistance required, they're still IV feeding while I'm working on pumping.

Over all, we're both doing great. H too 😜

thechickencoop I can't tell you how many times I've been checking this thread this morning to see for an up date. I'm so glad to hear he is doing well! Hes adorable! How are you feeling mama? *** and obviously take all the time you need to respond - i'm sure you've all got your hands full right now!
