So cute thatgolfb. His friends at school are obsessed with Paw Patrol so really it was only a matter of time before he realized they are more than pictures on his friends' shirts.

Ugh just saw my Glucose results and I'm over by 5 points. How bad is that? I'm waiting for the official call from the OB.

Late to the convo, but ditto the teachers with parent questions. It was the first thing I was asked by several parents too: "When will you be out?" I even had a parent go to an administrator to ask to move her daughter's homeroom because of it.

My first grade teacher left in the middle of the school year because she ran off with her pool boy. Literally, flew to Mexico with the guy who cleaned her pool. We had a sub for two weeks and then a new teacher. Spoiler alert...I turned out ok.

Thanks all for the well wishes for my DS. He's still feverish but I'm home now, giving him lots of snuggles.

icedcoffee glad you are here. pootsen sorry he isn't feeling well. Hopefully he feels better tonight. Snuggles are the best medicine. cdnfarmgirldoxiemama we love PAW patrol. When we got rid of cable, we had to borrow the IL's log in so we could have Nick Jr. quinn sorry 😕 Potty training mommas! Those Chux pads (blue ones they put under you after birth to keep the blood off the bed) are the best for the car seat! We use them on the first few longer trips even after dry, just in case. Oh and for the record, today the dog decided the throw up in the house. Two spots. Luckily I saw the 2nd before DS3 stepped in it. Rocking week and it is only Tuesday.

Just make sure you are eating well the few days leading up to it and follow the fasting instructions. Don't carb load at night like I was doing lol. I was over by 12 points on the 1 hour but passed the 3 hour without any issue.

I am 99.999999% sure I know what you're going to say but if someone just rear ended me I should call the hospital, right? To see if they want me to come in?
Today was going so awesomely until that.

I would call your doc regardless, and hospital if you are in pain. I'm so sorry that sucks! Hope everything is ok with you and baby.

My doc says to call the hospital first after 20 weeks since he's only in the office one day a week and it's not today, LOL. Of course I can't remember if my back hurt before I was hit. Of course. I can feel the baby moving and everything but I'll call L&D regardless.

I have my diabetes education class from 9am-12pm on Friday. They do a class team taught by a dietitian and a nurse so we learn about eating plans and how to check BS levels. I am getting anxious to start checking levels. Changing my eating has (so far) been pretty easy but I would love to know if I can relax a little. I can be kind of obsessive about diet/weight/eating and I don't want it to get too crazy. Having concrete evidence of what I am doing will help relieve some of the pressure.

Thanks everyone for the support. Thankfully my 2.5 yo decided she was tired and fell asleep watching tv which gave me time to nap as well. I told my 5 yo that he could only wake me if he was bleeding or dying. I don't know what he did for the 1.5 hours I was sleeping but he was quiet, I slept and it was glorious.

If you are already adjusting your diet I bet your levels are going to be fine. Frankly I'm surprised by what I can eat without going outside normal range. I found some good stuff online, if you want I can PM you links.

I hope everything checks out, but you definitely want them to check the placenta.

I have found a lot of stuff online but am always searching for more. I am willing to bet I am the most already "educated" in this class on Friday. I have a strong NEED to know everything I am currently staying pretty strict to this plan: Bfast: 15-30g carbs, 1-4 protein servings Lunch: 30-60g carbs, 2-6 protein servings Dinner: 30-60g carbs, 2-6 protein servings And then 15-30g carbs, and 1-2 protein servings for 3 snacks a day I've cut almost all processed foods, for now. I'd love to be able to add in a few "treats" other than sugar-free popsicles.

We had an extra birthday present (dinosaur play set) for a friend, but I let my kids have it so I could rest. They've been playing so nicely for the last hour and a half! I know I've been relying on the tv more than usual, so I'm pleased with this.
